When I broke my arm, she said, "accidents will happen".
When my brother fell, she said, "accidents will happen".
When my dad left us, she said, "accidents will happen".
She doesn't say that any more, in fact she doesn't say anything any more.
She is gone-never to return. The doctor said she had died of a broken heart, it's a very rare concept.I was 14 then. Not old enough to take care of my brother, Brandon, but old enough to take care of myself. So after she passed we were sent to live with my grandma.
I am 15 now, 16 in a few weeks. My best friend Grace says she is going to throw a huge 16th birthday party for me. I just wanted to have dinner with family and a few friends. But like many teenagers she said that turning 16 is a big deal.
