Let me just say a couple of thing before you read the story. First off my name in Alyssa. I have a best friend named Amber who also lives with me. We are not your ordinary girls. We don't cake are face in makeup, or dress in pink, or any other really girly things. Secondly, I'm somewhat tan while Amber is white as snow. Even though both of us never go outside.
Anyways, we are girl gamers and pretty good ones if I do say so myself. I have 5 older brothers Spencer, Jacob, Sean, Joe, and Kyle. They are the ones that got me into gaming and after I slowly got addicted I dragged Amber into it.
Lastly, we live in a small town in Missouri, until one day my mom said that we where moving to California. Big surprise right?!
I guess I'll start my story there.
Alyssa's POV
Walking into my first period class I sat down next to Amber who looked pissed.
"Amber" I called her name.
"Amber?!" I called raising my voice a little bit.
"What?!!" she snapped
"Wow, what crawled up your ass and died?" I asked putting my hands up in surrender.
"ImighthavegotalittleangerywithmyXboxIthrowitoutmywindow."she mumbled really fast.
"Excuse me, I didn't hear you." I said smirking knowing exactly what she said.
She took a deep breath and slowly said " I might have gotten a little angry with my Xbox and I throw it out of my window."
Wow. I thought. "How come I didn't hear it I mean you do live in my house." I said really confused.
"Easy, I did it while you where in the shower." Amber said as the tardy bell rung signaling ever one to get into their seats.

*Lunch*
While I was stuffing my face with a chicken patty Amber was laughing her ass off because of a meme. Alec (my twin brother Kyle's best friend) came over and sat down right next to us asking me about the tournament that the local game center is having.
"So... Alyssa have you heard about the tournament that's happening this Saturday?" He asked smirking.
"No, Alec, I haven't." I said agitated by his presence.
"Yeah you probably wouldn't cause we all know your not good enough." He said smirking even bigger.
Oh he did not just say that. I thought whilst both me and Ambers heads snapped up causing our eyes to come in contact. Amber has stopped laughing by now and we both knew what to do.
"You shouldn't have said that." We growled in unison. Alec's frowned then looked over at my brothers table. My idiotic brother just noticed Alec was over here and by the death glare I was giving him he knew Alec was in trouble. Before he was able to come to his rescue I dumped the rest of my food over his head while Amber swept her leg under one of the metal legs tipping the chair making Alec fall on his back hitting his head on the cafeteria floor.
"Oh we all know I'm leagues better than you so by insulting my skills you insulted yourself." I said calmly keeping steel in my voice. Alec just groaned and moved his hand to the back of his head. I picked up my bag and walked out of the cafeteria like a boss with Amber following my actions.
Once we were out of site me and Amber did are secret bro shake we only do if we totally burn one of my brothers friends.

The rest of the day went by like normal until I got off the bus and saw a U-Haul truck outside my house.
"Hey mom, we're home." I yelled holding the door open for Amber and my two brothers that also got off of the bus.
"I'm in the kitchen." She yelled "I have some news."
"Does it have to do with the U-Haul truck outside." I said walking into the kitchen.
"Yeah it does, um.. how do I put this lightly, we're moving in less than a week cause I got a promotion and they want me out there right away." She said really fast.
"Where to?" I asked before my brothers could ask endless questions.
"California."
"What?!" All four of us yelled.
"Yeah."
"Great fricken bright, happy California." I muttered
I turned away from my mom and ran to my room to start packing. Trust me when I say I'm not happy about going but the sooner I get there the sooner I can plug in and leave my world to the world of gaming.

*A Week Later*
I just put the last of my stuff in the back and closed the door ready to head out. Sean, Spencer and Jacob, came to help out with the move sense the U-Haul was a 2 person bench. Amber and I rode with Sean while Joe and Kyle rode with Spencer and Jacob rode with my mom.
We pulled out of the driveway heading to our new life. I sighed pulling my beats over my head and adjusted them to my ears. Amber was already pasted out since it was only 6:45 in the morning. I closed my eyes and drifted of into a dreamless rest.
