Hi and Hello, my name is Greg, and I will be your guide into the life of ... well this.
He had dreams, big ones.
Ashton was always a dreamer; The one who would rather look up at the stars, then be learning about them. He was big into everything that involved creativity. I knew him all my life. He always seemed a little dazed, all of the time. when we got into high school we lost contact, until two months before gradation.
She had plans, careful ones.
Sarah was really strange too, don't get me wrong, but she was a little more watered down then Ashton. She was always planning, and calculating. She was big into math, and science. Me, being the typical slacker.. I wasn't into that, so I stood apart from her, and really don't know much about her.
I was just wondering, everywhere.
I grew up with Sarah and Ashton in the city of St. Cloud, a small city in Florida. I had nothing planed, and I never saw the way Ashton did. (One of the reasons we drifted, I guess.) He always had these big dreams, and things that he was going to do... The only thing I was good at was photography. I even doubt myself about that.
This isn't really about me though. This is about the trip half way across the country, that changed all of our life's. Were not there yet.. So just stay tuned. I promise, this is going to be a very weird ride.. but hold on, its filled with a lot of good things too.
By good things.. I don't know what I mean yet. That's for you guys to figure out.
It happened about two months before gradation, when Ashton texted me, the first time in about two years. He said he wanted to find someone or something, to be honest I didn't read it. It was four in the morning and I had to work tomorrow. I did lazy respond though, with a "Go 2 slep, go2d nigt".
Needless to say... The next day at midnight, while I was in the best sleep of my life, he dragged me out of bed, and forced me into his car, and we drove.
I fell asleep and woke up in a backseat, without a trace of what happened in my mind.
First thing I did, was scream.
