"Goal!" 10 year old Alice Davenport screamed, throwing her hands up in the air in triumph. The ball went right through her brother's legs into the net. The Davenport twins were playing outside on their front yard, where they had set up their two mini soccer nets.

"Dang it!" Asher, Alice's twin, exclaimed. "You're too good at everything, and I suck at everything."

"Hey," Alice said, going over to pat Asher on the back. "With enough practice, you could be as great as me, better even!"

"Really?"

"Yeah, come on," Alice said, grabbing the ball from the net. "Let's get you better than me." Alice rolled the ball to the other net, and told Asher to try and score on her. Asher ran down to the ball and started dribbling back towards Alice. When he got close, he kicked the ball as hard as he could to the net.

The ball bounced off the right side of the net, and went into the street. Car's were going in and out of the street all day, and that time of day had been busy. Alice went into the street to retrieve the soccer ball.

Everything then happened so quickly.

A car came speeding down the street. Alice looked up at the car, in the middle of the street, just as the truck tried to slow down, but failed. It smashed into her ribcage.

The truck ran over her body before stopping. The man in the truck came out. Asher ran to his sister's side, screaming her name. Mrs. Davenport came out of the house from hearing all the ruckus. She immediately started crying when she saw her daughter, blood soaked, in the middle of the street. She went to call 911.

Asher picked up Alice's head in his arms and repeated Alice stay with me, please. Don't die. Alice coughed, blood splashing up and onto her cheeks and neck. She smiled at Asher before managing her last words.

I'll see you later,  Asher

She died in her twin's arms.
