"Peridot?" I heard a voice say. A familiar one.
I turned my head to see who called me and found....

Lapis with a confused face.
"Oh! Hey, Lapis!" I said, cheerfully.
"Can I talk to you? If you don't mind?" She said.
I looked at Jasper.
She winked at me and whispered.
"Go ahead. We'll be inside the room if you need us." She said.
I nodded and they started walking away.
"What is it Lapis?" I asked Lapis.
"Did they hurt you? What are you doing so close to them? And I saw you talking to a teacher earlier. Did you get into trouble?" She asked fast.
"Woah. One question at a time." I said.
She took a deep breath.
"What are you doing hanging out with Jasper?" She said, a hint of jealousy in her tone.
"Oh. We're just hanging out. She really changed." I said.
"Oh really?" She said.
She's acting weird.
"Why? You jealous?" I said, teasingly.
"W-wah?! No!" She defended.
I smirked at her and she blushed.
"Whatever." She said.
"Aww... Little ol Lapis is jealous." I said, smirking.
"Shut up!" She said, giggling.
She punched me gently on the arm.
"You wanna hang later?" I said.
"Sure. I'll ride with you when class is over." She said.
"It's a date then." I said, smirking.
She blushed and started to walk away.
"Well, I gotta get back to class." She said, waving goodbye.
"Kay, Cya." I said.
I walked towards my classroom and sat at my desk.
Time passed pretty fast and class was soon over.
Thank goodness that was over. I don't have to keep explaining on how to pronounce my name to teachers everytime they call me.
I walked towards my car and unlocked it.
"Hey dot!" A voice said.
I turned around to find who it was and found Jasper in a black ferrari.
"Oh. Hey Jasper." I said.
"You own a car? Cool." She said.
"Yeah. Cool car by the way." I said.
"Oh. This ain't mine. This is my dad's. He's driving." She said.
"Eh. You'll get a license someday." I said.
"Hope so. Oh! Wanna hang at my place?" She said.
"Sorry. I'm kinda busy." I said.
"Eh, it's fine. A nerd's work is never done." She said, grinning.
"Hmmp!" I said, chuckling.
"I gotta go. See ya!" She said as the car moved forward.
Guess this school year won't be that bad.
I hopped inside.
