The Daleks led the group down many hallways. Once again, they traveled with Daleks in front of them and in back; however, this time there were four Daleks in the front, and four in the back. The ponies walked in three rows: the Doctor and Mist were in the front, Fluttershy and Vinyl were behind them, and Bon Bon and Lyra brought up the rear.

After a little while, the Doctor thought that he recognized where they were in the castle. Then again, everywhere in the castle looked the same to him. When he saw the giant doors, however, he knew where they were headed.

The doors opened as the group approached. As they opened, they revealed the throne room. The long room was filled with about one hundred Daleks. At the end of the room, on the throne, was a Dalek that was a bit different than the others. It looked similar to the normal Daleks, the only differences were that it was slightly larger, and it was black.

The group made their way down the long room, the Daleks watching their every move. When they finally got to the throne, the Daleks in front of the ponies went to the sides, and the ponies stopped.

"I am the Supreme Dalek," the black Dalek said.

"I think we could figure out that much," Black Mist said, rather sharply.

"What is the meaning of this?" the head Dalek asked.

"Maybe it's because your just large," Mist continued. "Obviously it's to help make you stand out, but if you wanted to do that, you could have just changed your design."

"Mist," the Doctor whispered. "What are you doing?"

"There's also your color," Mist said, ignoring the Doctor. "Black's nice, in fact I'm rather fond of the color. However, it is rather similar to brown. Why not go with something brighter? Like, red or blue?"

"Return him to the dungeons," the head Dalek commanded.

Three Daleks went up to Mist, and Mist turned around. As he did so, the Doctor thought he saw him wink.

One Dalek went a little ahead of Mist, and the other two stayed behind him.

Once Mist was out of the room, the head Dalek turned to the other ponies. There was a short silence, as if the Dalek was trying to figure the ponies out.

"Where are the princesses?" the Doctor demanded.

"The horned pegasi are taken care of," the Dalek responded.

"So you killed them?" the Doctor asked.

"Negative."

"Then where are they?"

The head Dalek went quiet, then turned to look to his left. The Doctor looked over and saw a large cage with two figures in it. The Doctor couldn't see too well, but he knew it was the princesses.

"How...?" the Doctor started, but trailed off.

"The Daleks are not affected to your inferior forms of attack," the head Dalek stated.

"They're immune to magic," the Doctor whispered to himself, surprised and worried.

Just then the Doctor heard Mist's voice. It said "Doctor. Doctor, can you hear me?"

The Doctor remembered the mental link that Mist had created between them. "I can hear you," he said in his head.

"I have a plan," Mist's voice said. "But I need you to stall for a little bit."

"No problem," the Doctor replied.

"Excuse me," the Doctor said to the supreme Dalek. "But I was just wondering what you are doing here."

"We are here to conquer," the head Dalek responded.

"Yes, but how did you get here?" the Doctor asked.

"We have always been here," the supreme Dalek replied. "We are older than this kingdom, we are older than you creatures. Many years ago, we crashed here. We have stayed dormant for many years, waiting for the moment to strike. We have been building up enough power to take over."

"But you can't survive here," the Doctor said. "You won't survive here." The Doctor was getting angry now, thinking of how the Daleks had caused so much pain, how he didn't want them to hurt the ponies. "Sure, you may come back, after all, you always come back. But if there's one place you can't survive, it's here. Do you know why? It's because all you know is hate. You were built to hate, and you think that makes you powerful. You think eliminating emotions makes you strong because emotions get in the way. But the truth is, you're wrong. Hate makes you weak. And this world, this amazing world, is built on something that is much more powerful than you'll ever know. Friendship and love. They are the things that bring power to this world and its inhabitants. And you will never know how it feels, and you know what? I pity you for it. That's right, you heard me. The Doctor. PITIES. THE DALEKS!"

There was a short silence, then the supreme Dalek slowly said, "Doctor."

Then the Doctor knew he screwed up. He had let the Daleks know who he was.

Just then, the doors of the throne room were thrown off their hinges, and Mist, Derpy, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie were standing there.

"Knock, knock," Mist said in a low voice.

"Ooo," Pinkie said. "Good one, Mist."
