Kian sat alone on his private cinema room. His 6m x 6m cinema room was quite too small for the standard of luxury theatre room, but he’s okay with it, he feels comfy with it, and he loves it. It was the place he could spent his time with Jodi, his most beautiful, gorgeous, generous, and loyal wife in the world, to bring back the old great memories before they married and having two beautiful children completed his most perfectly small family, like a young lovers. There’s nothing he could say how blessed he is to have such a great life he had. Beautiful and sweet wife, two little children that always made him proud everyday, job he has now. Maybe not a job and life like he has used to, but he loves it. Now he prefers to sit behind the curtain, as a producer for some new singers. But it didn’t stop him to look back sometimes, and remind what he had back years ago, with his three greatest bestfriend in the world who more like brother to him. The life that was recorded on DVD he’s holding now; “WESTLIFE – FAREWELL 2012” – his last track of the great life with his three buddies that he knows from his teenage and lived with them for 14 years. Shane, Mark dan Nicky. An happy smile spread on his lips with every memories came through his corner eyes. But then he bit his lips in bitter, it was a long time.
He took a very deep breath ago, before putting the DVD on the player, then sat on his chair.
His heart started to beat hard, and cold blood runs through his vein as he heard the scream of thousand fans that filled their last concert Cork Park. He read those big letters on the big screen that spread wide so all fans can watch it, and showed one great name on his life; W.E.S.T.L.I.F.E, then continued by the first song played; ‘What About Now’ . He was countless on watching it, but he still never can get rid the lost feeling off. The lost feeling that he started to feel after couple years since they decided to put everything down. To end up the journey of the greatest boyband in the world; WESTLIFE. End up the 14 years of their music business they loved. One final decision they took without any doubt and quite shocking for everyone. No one ever thought Westlife will be ended, not after Bryan left them. They were even stronger after he left, and no one can beat Westlife. But they were very tired, f***k up and bored by the life they had for the long 14 years, even with their loyal fans who adored couldn’t change their mind and stop their decision on finishing it. So that was happened on 22 and 23 Juni 2012, the final concert of Westlife in Cork Park. Thousands people came from whole the world to watch their last concert with crying, screaming and pleading for them to change their mind, with the rain contributed the saddest moment in his entire life. Honestly, he didn’t want to go back to that feeling. The hurt feeling he ever had, that he realized he had betraying his fans, their fans. They were so selfish to follow the heart and end this up, and let their fans down.
Kian inhaled with a smiled, and got him relax on his chair, enjoying their best concert they had, with his Guinnes in his hand.
How long has it passed since that day ? More than 12 years? It’s quite long. And what did happened to him and them during those years, after the WESTLIFE ? Quite much. And Kian is blessed having it.
Shane, his closest bestfriend, and now legally his cousin as he married his cousin, Gillian, really really loves his music. He has a good carrier as singer. Only one year after the end up, he released his own solo album and went pretty good. Shane was helped by the man who has know that kind of bussines and made him good on track, with the good song as well, and that man is Kian Egan. Yup, Shane asked him to write with him the songs for his album, and become his manager and producer as well on Shane’s second album. So now and on Kian is officially Shane’s producer to his latest album.
