Santana's pov

"Hold on , I'll get Brittany." Whitney greeted and then yelled up the stairs for Brittany to come downstairs.

She invited me in and shut the door. Brittany slowly walked down the stairs a few minutes later.

Whitney smiled at me and then walked into the kitchen.

"Hi, I'm Santana. In case you didn't know," I winked.

"Yeah I know, you probably already know I'm Brittany," She smiled at me.

Damn, that smile could cure cancer.

"Okay, I know my mom sent you here. She's been trying to make me friends all year," Brittany giggled.

She looked so cute. She had on blue skinny jeans and a pink sweater with a cat on it.

"You want to go outside," Brittany led me to her backyard.

"I love your backyard,  it's cute like you." I nudged her.

"Well thank you, I got a trampoline last year and I just have mats to practice for cheer and a balance beam because I'm a little clumsy. And I made a little garden back there," Brittany explained showing me around her yard.

"Oh, I wish I could practice.  But I put on a skirt before I came here," I pouted.

"Oh,you can borrow some pants from me." Brittany answered simply.

After we both got changed into more comfortable clothes we went outside.

"I want to show you something I just learned for cheer," I got on her mat and did a double back handspring backflip.

"Wow, your good. I can show you my backhandsprings.  I can do like 20 in a row." Brittany showed me.

"Cool girl, I'm surprised we never talked before. To be honest I was nervous to talk to you," Santana shrugged.

"Scared to talk to me? I'm like the least intimidating person ever." Brittany raised her eyebrow.

"Yeah , believe it or not. I was terrified to talk to you.  I thought you would think I was a mean bitch," I smirked.

"You are a mean bitch, but that's not why I didn't talk to you.  I didn't talk to you because you are like really popular and wouldn't want to talk to me. The girl who is obsessed with unicorns and the Jonas brothers." Brittany giggled walking closer to me.

"Oh, well you're right I am sort of a bitch but that's only to people that I don't like," I announced loudly hoping maybe Rachel Berry would hear from 2 neighborhoods away.

"I pretty much talk to everybody.  But I don't like everyone." Brittany smiled.

"I think you're a lot of trouble hidden behind this innocent wall," I raised an eyebrow.

We talked and practiced our cheer moves until I had to go home.

"Bye Brittany, I'll see you at school tomorrow." Santana yelled as she walked back to her house.

Brittany waved until I got home.

She's nicer, funnier, and even cuter than I thought. But I still didn't find out if she had a boyfriend or girlfriend or if she was gay or not.

But at least I'll go to sleep knowing I finally talked to the hot girl down the street and we're friends.
