Chapter 1

I never thought my life would end up like this. I'm so happy with where I am now. My life is great, everything worked out for me...well not exactly. There's a story behind everything especially me. This story might take some time, but bare with me, I think It'll be great.

It all started on my first day of my junior year. My friends and I agreed that we would meet up in front of the cafeteria, and catch up. I haven't seen some of my friends since last year. Most of them left the country for vacation and Ethan and Leah were the only people who stayed. I love all of my friend's, but I'm closest to Ethan and Leah. I've known them since preschool, we met on the jungle gym and that's when we all agreed to be friends. John, Selena, and Kate, came back a couple days ago, and I'm so excited to see them again.

I got to school really early, so I decided to walk around campus. They painted it over the summer, and now it looks like a prison. It's nice to see the campus though, to be reminded of all the and bad things that had happened to be. While I was walking toward the quad, when Leah spots me.

"Roy! Hey!" Leah charges at me like a bull on fucking speed. She crashes into me and hugs me.

"Hey, Leah, it's great to see you. How have you been?" She has long brown hair which turns purple at the ends. It fits her. She a little bit shorter than I am, and she always dresses well. Today she's wearing a tan jeans and a black Panic! At The Disco shirt. She looks great as usual.

"Oh my god, you won't even believe the summer I've had. It was the best, OH MY GOD, YOU Will not believe it." Leah keeps going on and on, something amazing must of happened.

"Leah slow down start from the beginning," I laugh. It's really great to see her. She takes me over to a table in the quad. She sits me down, walks over to the other side of the table and sits down. She gives me a blank stare. She sits there for a second and lets out a sigh.

"...YOU KNOW HOW I'VE BEEN SINGLE FOREVER AND I'VE ALWAYS WANTED A BOYFRIEND?!" she yells, she said it so fast that she needed to to take a second to breath, "WELL I GOT ASKED OUT BY THIS SUPER HOT DUDE OVER THE SUMMER!"

After Leah says that Ethan walks over to the table we were sitting at. Ethan is about 6'2" and pretty ripped and he's on the football team. He's wearing this white shirt and you can see his six pack through it. I swoon a little bit in my head. He's got spiked up dirt blonde hair and beautiful ocean blue eyes. I've got a little crush on him, but he's my best friends and I've known him since preschool and he's straight. "Wow! Leah, are you okay? You're screaming really loud." Ethan says. Man even his voice is perfect.

"It's John." she says matter a factually.

Ethan and I look at Leah with a little concerned look. "John?" I ask as a confirmation. "Our John?"

Leah responds quickly and defensively, "Yes, 'our' John." Is there a problem with John?

Ethan and I look at each other for a second, but then be breaks our gaze. "Ya...I mean no, it's just that I wouldn't of expect John to be your type, or you his." Ethan says.

"Well whatever, there he his now," Leah says a little annoyed. She stomps off and that just leaves me and Ethan. He stares right into my eyes. I almost melt at his gaze. His eyes are so magnificent. "So have have you been Roy? How was your summer?" Ethan asks me.

I was little startled by his question so I jumped up a little. "Oh...It was alright...I wish we could've hung out more though, other than that I really didn't do much. How was yours?" I ask awkwardly.

"Mine was really fun actually, I partied, hung out with my girl friend." He winks as he says that last part. Unfortunately that's another reason I'll never be able to date him. We sit there for a little bit, and he breaks the silence. "Class is about to start, and we both have the same first period, so let's walk together."

"Okay," I say, barely getting the words out. He and I start walking through the quad and we catch up about summer.
