The air was clear and nothing moved for miles around, except for one person. Keith Marshal walked along the abandoned road; a slight limp in his step. Passing crashed cars, darkened alleyways and dead bodies as he did so. So many bodies. He had a long scar stretching down his tattooed left arm and a miserable look plastered onto his face.

Wandering aimlessly into a small house, he heard a noise. Noises were never good news if you were travelling alone in Savannah. That is , if he was still in Savannah. Suddenly, something came hurtelling down the stairs but instantly fell to the floor due to Keith's baseball bat colliding with the thing's face- if you could call it a face. Taking off his cap, he ran a scarred hand through the stragley, matted mess of hair on his head and placed it carefully back. He kind of loved this new life. The adrenaline rushing through his body when hitting the zombies in the head was just the best feeling. If only Ellis was here, he thought to himself.

Keith quickly shook away his thoughts and made for the doorway, unnerved by the echo of a gunshot. He left he building in a haste to find intelligent civilisation. A little way down the road, he saw a young woman , no more than twenty five, holding a shotgun against the chest of an old guy in a suit. Both were screaming at each other. But Keith didn't care. He had found people, who were real, and alive, and screaming!

He started to run as best as he could towards the two people. The woman looked up - she obviously had not seen many other people around here either. Whilst she was distracted, the man in the suit ran for his life, pushing down Keith as he did so. The woman walked up to him and introduced herself; Rochelle. She was tall , with dark hair, skin and eyes and thik gold hoops hanging from her ears. She beckond for him to follow her; so the two made their way up the road following in the same footsteps as the guy in the suit. "His name's Nick and he deserves to be shot in the foot." Rochelle complained to Keith about the suit man.
"Or the face."

It had been days since Keith had seen anyone but Rochelle, and trust me, she gets boring after about half an hour. Neither knew where Nick had disappeared off to , all Keith knew was that Rochelle wasn't happy with him. He wasn't even entirely sure what happened; something about bathrooms, mice and a misunderstood left shoe. At least she got to let out he anger on the zombies intead of him. It kind of helped really; having someone so violent around. They're good at fighting, see.
