missed his touch. missed his smell. missed his voice.but he's gone. and he changed me.

it was the first day back at the hell hole and I was actually excited, which is frantically quite shocking, not even just for me, for many like my parents. the only reason I would actually want to be back is because ill be back with my friends. since I couldn't see the most summer and when I mean most I mean I only saw them twice which was last weekend. that's only because i was in Virgin Islands which definatily wasn't awful. i was with my cousins and family and all that good stuff.

"there he is!!" says ally, my best friend since the womb, our parents were friends since they were younger so we've been close since forever.

"who?" i say as i turn to look at her

before she has the chance to answer i bump into "him".

"oh sorry.... wait mikayla?" he says

there it was the voice i wished to never hear yet it felt so comforting like those giant costco bears.

"oh, hi jake" i say in an awkward tone

as all of this is happening ally is just as confused as i am. something was off about him. but I guess by the look of our faces we both couldn't recall.

"oh well ill see you around, you look pretty today" he says while jogging to his group of friends down the hall.

and there he left me in the most confused ive been all day.
