The power flickered off, making the house silent and eerie. I peered out the front window. I watched as the luminous storm clouds chased away the last bit of light sky. The rain began to pour, the pelting sound of the rain against siding echoing through the room. Thunder rumbled nearby, and as lightning illuminated the living room, the front door flung open.

"This place... you're sure there's a half blood here?"

  "Percy, I'm positive."

Three figures loomed in the doorway, moving about the house. I reached for my phone, about to call the police when a hand grasped my shoulder.

  "Hey, we aren't criminals."

  "Who are you?"

  "I'm Annabeth, Daughter of Athena."

I gave her a skeptical look. Probably gone mental, I thought.

"Percy, over here." She called impatiently. Two males appeared beside her.

"I'm Grover. I like the blue hair."

  I blushed. "You're a satyr."

  "Percy Jackson, son of Posiedon."

"Name's Thalia, Zeus." I gawked at the four.

"My name's Danny Grimm" I had a sister, but I had no clue where she disappeared to.

The newcomers lead me outside, and we started our journey to who knows where. To be honest, I could care less, as long as there was food.

After about an hour, I started to become curious.

"Where are you taking me?" The storm clouds had disappeared as we traveled into what I knew was Long Island Sound or something.

"Camp Half Blood. That's where demigods, like you, train." Grover explained, smiling giddily.

"Who's my parent?" I inquire, staring at the blue hair falling in my face.

"You'll be claimed... eventually." Percy replied.

"Speaking of parents, where are your mortal ones?"

  "No clue. My sister-"

  Percy interrupted me, "a sister?!"

"Step sister." I corrected, "anyway, are we almost there?" I spoke too late, we were coming over a hill, a pine tree resting on top. We passed over the hill, coming to see a large forest, strawberry fields, cabins, and a huge house.

"Well, I see you've found a new camper?" A man said. Except, he wasn't a man, he was a centaur.

"Chiron, this is Danny Grimm." The centaur, Chiron, shook my hand, instructing Percy to give me a tour.

After Percy had finished showing me around I was lead to a large outdoor pavilion where kids of all ages were sitting at long tables.

You can go join the Hermes cabin," I was told, as two boys I found out we're the Stoll brothers, waved me over.

I reluctantly sat down between two girls, listening as Chiron started to inform the camp of some new rules and what was happening this year.

Suddenly, everyone's eyes turned on me, and I started to tremble.

"Hey, she's a kid of the Big Three!" One girl exclaimed, bringing me to my feet. A green trident glowed over my head. I looked around for a friendly face like Annabeth or Percy, but only found him scowling.

"Ms. Grimm, you've been claimed. Go and have a seat at the Posiedon table with Percy." Chiron stated, smiling, but I could tell it was forced and worried. Percy looked up with a worried glance and I could have sworn for a split second I saw a glare.
