(Sarah POV)

~The Day At The Coffee Shop~

"Ryan." I saw someone familiar across the room.

"Yes love?" He bent down and kissed my cheek.

"Is that..Patrick?" I studied the mans face. He was sitting with another man. "Like..as in Patrick Stump?" He turned his head, and focused his attention on the man with the fedora.

"Yeah, I think it is. Stay here." He walked over and smiled when he reached the two men, but it faded when he look at the man across from Patrick. I didn't know what to do so I just stood there awkwardly. After about two minutes Ryan waved me over.

When I made it to the table, I looked at the man across from Patrick, and saw the one and only Dallon Weekes. We hadn't spoken in years. I wondered if he knew about Brendon and I.

The awkward conversation consisted of me spilling about Brendon, Ryan, and I. Ryan being extremely defensive, and Dallon being very defensive of Brendon. I didn't mind when Ryan said we had to leave. I was uncomfortable. Brendon wouldn't have done that for me. He wasn't that type of guy. Ryan, he was sweet, and funny, and just perfect. He would be a great father to the girls. We dropped them off at my parents house before we left.

"What the hell was all that?" I was pulled from my daze by Ryan, who was confused, and fuming with rage.

"I don't know..Just ignore it.. It's gonna be fine. Let's just go get the girls. You need to spend time with them."

"Alright. Let's go." We rounded the side of the building and got in Ryan's beat up, black Comaro.

"You know I love you right?" I turned to face him.

"And I love you too." I knew he meant it, but I just felt doubts. Maybe it was just because I left Brendon for the man I cheated on him with.

"So I was thinking..Since the divorce is going to be final by next week, maybe we should.." I couldn't think of the right words to say. "Never mind.." Ryan gave me a questioning look, but shrugged it off and kept driving.

My parents had known Brendon and I weren't staying together, but I doubt they knew that I was seeing Ryan behind his back. It would kill me if they found out, so all I could do was pray that Brendon wouldn't say anything to them.

When we arrived, my mother opened the door and my two beautiful girls walked up behind her. Ryan stayed in the car as I stepped into the petite home.

"Mommy!!" They chimed at the same time.

"Hi girls! Why don't you go get in the car?" I opened the door for them and they skipped out of the house.

My mother sat on her old, beat up couch and patted the spot next to her.

"Okay.. Time for serious talk. How're you doing?" She looked at me sternly.

My mother was always the type to ask questions and comment later. She was always calling me and asking how I was coping with the divorce. I'd told her I was fine and would get over it, but honestly I was having the time of my life. It had only been a few days since I left Brendon's house and went to live with Ryan, but so much had changed in that short amount of time. I felt as if I could be myself, and until Brendon could prove to me he could handle the kids on his own, they were staying with me. I couldn't stand knowing that they were with a man, whom I used to be married to, that was addicted to drugs. I didn't want them thinking it was okay to be like that. I know Brendon is getting better, at least trying, but it would be too hard for me. I heard about a party he had, which is another reason I don't want the kids near him. He's always drunk or high, and throwing parties. Most of the time the girls had to stay with my mom while he partied and I tagged along, or left to be with Ryan.

"Sarah.." My mom nudged me out of my daze.

"Oh yeah. Sorry. I'm fine. It's still kinda hard, I feel worse for Brendon though. He's all alone now.

(Ryan POV)

When Sarah got out of the car I turned on the radio and waited for the girls. I honestly wasn't in the best mood and didn't want to see them, but if it's means I get to be with the woman I love, I'll have to live through it. The two tired girls slid into the backseat of my car and both said hello.

"Hello girls!" I smiled into the review mirror making eye contact. "How was grandma's?"

"Hi Ryannn!" Emma grinned back at me. She was so sweet, but she looked so much like Brendon. It disgusted me.

"It was awesome!!" I'm not going to flip on the girls. I can't ruin my relationship with Sarah. Not today.

        "That's great."

After a few minutes of not responding, I looked back to see that both of the girls were sleeping. Emma's head resting on her sister's shoulder.

About 20 minutes later Sarah bounded out of the house, with a huge smile on her face. She's so beautiful.

"I love you!" She squealed as she got into the car.

"I love you too darling." She loved when I called her that. Apparently Brendon never gave her cute nicknames, or called her nothing other than 'Sarah', or 'Babe'.

"Let's go home." I had no idea what her and her mother talked about, and why she was acting this way, but I liked it.

About five minutes later, we were at my house and there were black skid marks from tires on the driveway. I thought nothing of it though.

"Wake up girls." Sarah reached back and nudged the girls awake.

"I'll go start dinner." (A/N: I forgot what time it was, and I'm too lazy to go look 'so professional I know, but yeah. It's dinner time now, so maybe around 5 or 6 PM)

"We have a lot to talk about." Sarah was still smiling when she said that. It had to be something good.
