Gilbert and Matthew were sitting on the couch, wrapped in one of the huge blankets from the closet. Kumajiro slept peacefully on the other end of the sofa while the two lovers watched a movie together, or atleast, Gilbert was mostly watching it.
Matthew had practically begged for Gilbert to watch this movie with him he found on Netflix. (Netflix and Chill, huehuehue.~) "C'mon Gil, just this once?" Matthew looked at the German with puppy eyes. Gilbert knew Matthew was like his brother, Alfred. Matt would always ask Gilbert to watch something scary with him, but would always end up down right terrified while watching it, just like Alfred was with Kiku. Still, he didn't wanna upset his Canadian lover, also Lovino had said it was a good movie, so Gilbert wanted to watch it himself. "Alright Birdie, I'll watch it with you," he said, running a hand through the other male's silky blond hair. Matthew's violet eyes beamed with happiness as a smile spread across his face. "Thank you, Gilly. Je t'aime," he said cheerfully to the albino in front of him. Gilbert smiled sweetly at the Canadian's words. "Ich liebe dich, Birdie," he responded, and kissed the blond on the head.
Now, Matthew had his head buried into his boyfriend's chest, trying to block out as much of the movie as he could. "Birdie?" Gilbert put a hand on the Canadian's head, causing Matthew to jump. "O-Oh, um, yeah Gil?" Matthew asked the German. "Sorry I scared you, mein liebe. I just wanted to know if you were alright," Gilbert said softly. "Of course I'm alright. What makes you ask that?"
"Because, you are kind of clinging onto me really tightly, and it's starting to get hard to breathe.""Really?"
"Mhm."
Matthew let go of Gilbert and mumbled a "sorry."
"Nein, it's alright Birdie," Gilbert began, "we can watch another movie if you vant." Matthew shook his head. "No, you really don't have to change it for me. You really seem to be liking it." Gilbert smiled sweetly at Matthew. "To be honest, I can already tell what's going to happen at the end, so it won't matter if I watched the rest," he said. Matthew returned the same sweet smile.
"Um, alright then. I'm sorry for making you watch it though," the blond said. Gilbert was already looking for another movie to watch. "You don't have to apologize, liebe. You just wanted to spend time with the awesome me, and I don't mind that," he said. He put on Harry Potter, (cause that's a good movie, man) and wrapped his arm around Matthew.
"Ich liebe dich, Birdie."
"Je t'aime, Maple."
