"Pacifica! Are you guys coming or not?", A voice echos in the wind as the flowers bloom in the open field. She turns and sees two figures, a boy and a girl. Both unable to see their faces.
"We're coming!", Her cousin Gideon shouts back. Both Pacifica and Gideon slowly runs towards the boy and girl, holding their hands out trying to catch up.
Their happy child laughters fill the air in the field, "Don't worry guys, we're coming!", Pacifica shouts towards the boy and girl. Their hands all come together into a friendship circle.
They all laugh, spinning in the open field while the wind blows against their skin, they all tumble to the ground.
"You guys are such dorks", the boy said while chuckling. "Well at least we don't have a birth mark of a dipper on our head", Pacifica said said back with a slight chuckle.
They all laugh simultaneously at the comment Pacifica gave back, Gideon rises up, "Were always going to be friends, right guys?" Gideon ask with a curious look on his face.
Pacifica also rises to find out the same answer, both the boy and girl look at each other, "Of course," they both reply back with the same happy expression.
"Great then," Pacifica say with an even happier expression. The sun starts to set over the horizon. "Come on guys! Last one home is an Old yeller!" Gideon say with determination.
"YEAH!" They all same in unison, they start to run in the field as the same direction as the wind.
----Scene fades to a bus stop----
Pacifica and Gideon grabs their bags as the see the bus arrive.
"Do you really have to go?" The boy questioned with saddness,
"Its not going to be the same hear without you guys," the girl finished after the boy's question.
"Sorry guys, summers over and our parents said we need to go back home ," Pacifica said with a sadder tone in her voice. "I'm really going to miss u guys," Pacifica says while her eyes starts to tear up.
"H-hey, on the bright side w-we'll be able to come back next summer!", Gideon says while trying to calm his cousin. Pacifica rubs her eyes knowing that Gideon is right.
"H-he's right, We'll meet again!", Pacifica says while clutching her fist with determination. "Group hug everyone!" The boy announces to his friends. As they are in their hugging position, the bus driver says its time to leave.
The friends all looked at each other and knew it was time to say goodbye, both Pacifica and Gideon grabs their bags and starts to get on the bus. "Pacifica wait!", the boy says while grabbing on to her hand, " I made you something", he says reaching into is pocket.
"Its a little mini-you", the boy says as he shows her a little rag doll of her, Pacifica covers her mouth in shock. " I made it for you, I was going to give it to as a birthday present.But i thought you weren't going to like it or thought it was weird".
"But hey, who knows when I'll have another chance?" He slightly chuckls. "I did the stitching", the girl says in the background. "Shut up!" The boy yells back. "Well i did", the girl teasingly said.
Pacifica slowly takes the doll from the boy's hands surprising him, "I love it", Pacifica says as more tears start to form. "You do!?", the boy says with happiness.
"I do, thank you" Pacifica says while kissing the boy on the cheek, still unable to see his face, but you can tell for sure his face is turing bright red. "I'll cherish this forever. Thank you guys so much". Pacifica says looking back as she walks on the bus. She sits next to Gideon at the window end and sees the boy and girl waving goodbye.
The bus starts to drive, but that doesn't stop the boy and girl waving goodbye. Running while the bus moves to both Pacifica and Gideon yelling, "Remember to come back!" Shouted the girl, "And don't forget us!", finished the boy both Pacifica and Gideon yells back together, "WE WILL!".
Both the boy and the girl fade from the sight of the pines, as the bus picks up speed. Pacifica looks out the window seeing the sign, "Now Leaving Gravity Falls". Pacifica sits back as she sees her cousin dozing off at the window.
Her heart will always remember those two, holding the doll in her hands as more tears form. Her eye lids getting heavier, she starts to slowly fall asleep. In total darkness.
"Pacifica..Pacifica", she awakens at the sound of her cousin waking her up. "We're almost there", he says pointing at the sign, "Welcome to Gravity Falls", "can you believe its been nine years since we been here!", Gideon says in excitement.
"Ye-yeah" she says while wiping the tears off her face, "same dream again ", Gideon says to her noticing the tears. "Yeah its been so long", she says with a chuckle. The bus comes to a stop near the town.
"Do you remember those kids Pacifica?", Gideon questions her. "No..", she says with a sad expression. "What if they're not here, what if they don't remember us?" He starts to question.
"Well we won't know till we look won't we", she says while swinging her backpack on wiping her little rag doll in Gideon's face. "You still have that, its all old and rip, why do you still keep it?" Gideon asks.
"I don't know, all i know is that I'm supposed to cherish this no matter what, so Shut your dirty mouth!" Pacifica said while wiping her hair in Gideon's face. "Its your doll Pacifica", Gideon says teasingly.
"Whatever bro", she chuckles while getting off the bus. Pacifica takes a big wift of the forest air, Gideon doing the same. "Hello again Gravity Falls" Pacifica whispers under her breath
