The sun shone through the curtain. Laura blinked, and close her eyes. It was a sunny day, people's favorites. But not for Laura, it makes her feel hopeless, useless, and settled a big rock in the bottom of her stomach.

Ross was to the right of her, his eyes gazing into the brunette's. It stared there for quite a while. Once Laura was done tossing and turning, because of her morning fit, she finally slide off the bed. She sat there, staring at nothing in particular, her legs folded behind her.

Ross gets off too, his eyes filled with curiosity. He squats next down to her. "How are you feeling?" He asks. Laura didn't answer. She pulled her legs infront of her and rested her chin between them.

"How about we go on a walk by the beach?" Ross suggests. At that Laura nodded, and reach out her hand so Ross could pull her up. He did, and he even added a kiss to her hand.

Ross swinged Laura's hand more violently than ever. "So you miss the future?" It sounded weird. Laura simply nodded. "Will you talk?" Laura bit her lips. "I think my voice is going to crack." And it did.

Ross apologized. "I will convince them," he says to himself more than he said to Laura. She knew-that he was going to try to stop those who wanted to kill her. In any way he can.

You don't have to? She mouths to him. Ross gave her a confused smile, but says, "Don't worry, just enjoy the time we're here." And she obeyed. They sat on the sand, their legs outstretched infront of them, their feet are buried in the watery sand, and their toes digged deeper.

Then Laura felt something-a hole. Her eyes widened, as images ran through her head. Her, staring af the bucket in her classroom. Her, standing infront of the puddle, ready to jump. She felt the odd feeling as she stared down into its open arms, ready to invite her in.

She feels the same feeling now. Was this 'dream' finally over? She imagines herself squeezing her eyes shut, her body sinking down into the ocean. She could do it, but she couldn't. She could do it physically, but not mentally.

She couldn't leave without Ross. Or at least explaining to him. She feels the weight of leaving him here, heartbroken for the girl in his mother's letter. And she feels the weight of Ellen, her face creased and worried, her mother by blood.

It was like a balance. The choices weighed on her, making her shoulders sag. She couldn't decide. She wouldn't she would just do, and she knows how to.

Laura asked to be left alone after the walk, and Ross accept the request with a expression that looks disoriented. She felt bad for seeing the expression on his face. But she needed some time alone.

As she walks into the Japanese house, she greets the little boy with a neither friendly or unfriendly stare, and walk to her room. There, she slid down against the wall, her mind pounding with decisions to make.

She held her head, and consistently tucking a few stray hair behind her ears. She couldn't think, couldn't even think. But in her heart, she knew what she wanted to do-stay with Ross. But her mind disagrees, it suggests-go back to your mother, you might get killed here, anyway.

She thought both were good suggestions. And she struggles to reach her decision. She doesn't have one yet. Yet. That night, she lays on her back, staring wide-eyed at the ceiling above her. Thoughts swarmed in her head, making her nauseous.

If she can't decide what to trust and do-her heart or her brain-she would try to combine both the suggestion, forming a decision. Maybe she could take Ross with her. She'll have to do an experiment on him tomorrow, to see if her can go to the future with her.

It'll be perfect.
