Chapter 1

Nikki's POV

I woke up to the buzzing of my alarm clock and turned over to hit snooze. It was noon. I laid there for about 5 more minutes before remembering why I set the alarm. The new contest will be up in 5 minutes!! I thought excited.

I hopped out of my bed grabbing my computer and running downstairs into the living room to turn on the tv. I clicked on the link that has the contests for just about every band and entered the contest putting in all the needed information. The accept icon popped up with a notification the contest would end the next day and with notify me if I've won or not.

I closed my laptop and focused on the news channel that was on. The same old stuff happened. A shooting at the run down gas station, drug deals, homicide, break ins, and gang graffiti.

It was nothing new. If you weren't careful you could be jumped or shot.

I turned the channel and just watched whatever was on, I didn't feel like going out today.

Tony's POV

When we first found out the manger had put this contest together I wasn't all for. The guys loved the idea of a fan coming to stay with us for a month while we were on tour. I was worried, what if the fan was a crazy stalker or a super fan girl. I didn't want to deal with that and Jaime's craziness.

Eventually the idea came around to me. It doesn't seem so bad now.

Nikki's POV

I decided to make something to eat since I didn't eat earlier. I got up and walking into our simple kitchen. It was small barley 2 people wide and had just a stove, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and cupboards.

I opened the cupboards and grabbed a bowl, then the cereal off the top of the fridge and poured it into the bowl before placing it back on the fridge.

I walked onto the back porch. It was the only place I could be were there were no people and it was quiet. I looked onto the small forest in the back. Looking over the jagged green edges of the tree tops.

I ate silently before deciding to go back inside and sleep.
