Voiceover:

Since the beginning of time

Men have caused destruction.

From the Father of Humans

They're sucked in by seduction.

It's just in their nature, they can't help but give in.

That's why we blame Adam—for original sin.

Yet women today, they still haven't learned

They excuse it, ignore it, fall in love and get burned.

Verse 1:

In the beginning, from the dust of the ground,

The First Man was created, a divine practice round.

See, beauty and life came a little bit later

When woman was formed for Adam to mate her.

Unclothed and naïve, she ate forbidden fruit

Sank her teeth in deep, and the man followed suit.

When given a choice between what's good and what's bad,

A man will always choose what he knows he can't have.

Good versus evil—he'll always choose the latter.

When it comes to a woman, his promises don't matter.

Hook:

Cause men don't keep promises

They coast through life until they flake

Men don't keep promises

They'll twist your heart 'til it breaks.

If a man kept his word,

The whole world would quake

Cause men don't keep promises

They just lie and they cheat and they take.

Verse 2:

Women don't rape, or need to start wars

Yet they're left the victims and labeled as whores

Fight the rape culture, bring it to heel.

It's my choice to give, not your right to steal.

Men should watch out, 'cause we're raising our voice.

Long live the woman and her freedom of choice.

Michaela, why do you care? You're not under attack.

But we can't all succeed, when some are held back.

I'm not being defensive; but I cannot be stopped.

I will not be silent and hide under a rock.

[Hook]

Go make me your wife, and walk out on me, Ben

You can't hurt me now, but you hurt me back then.

Almost ruined my life, but I sprang back once again.

Who needs a knife? I'll run you through with my pen.

Never piss off a poet, because you're forever entombed

My ink is the method by which you're consumed

With these words and this post, I start conversation.

You broke my heart, now it's your reputation.

It's poems like these that make a man legend.

Everything you are is now called into question.

[Hook]

Bridge:

How does it feel, you sycophantic piece of shit

To have everyone know the real size of your dick?

It is by our actions that were are defined.

You're a selfish alcoholic, rude and unkind.

Verse 3:

Sticks and stones to break your bones

You think words cannot hurt you?

I pierce your skin with quill and pen

My words immortalize you.

Your actions hurt and leave their scars

And abuse has left me tender.

Save all the lives you want, my dear,

But it's your betrayal I remember.
