A fairy Non-tale

It all used to be a fairytale

But then it all changed.

You decided we weren’t good enough

And a wedding was soon arranged.

I miss the times

Were everything was right.

I could cuddle up to you,

And kiss you goodnight.

It all happened so fast,

We were replaced and never treated the same.

You turned into something I didn’t know,

A lion that couldn’t be tamed.

You’ve shattered our hearts like a mirror

You can try and put it back together

But there’s always that one piece,

That will never find its other.

You brought tears to my eyes,

But I decided to stay strong.

Fight for what I thought was right,

And open my eyes to all that was wrong.

Now you have lost me,

Like a puppy who can’t find its way home.

No love, just emptiness,

And a heart left to roam.
