I shuffled my feet as I walked home. My mind was whirling with questions.

Who do I trust? On one side, one girl tells me a story the other tells me another. It's just too confusing.

I clutched my bag strap, which was slung over my shoulder. I sighed in frustration.

Aphmau is too nice. She accepted me on my first day here. I don't know anything about Ivy. I should find more information on both girls, for all I know, one could be lying.

Being the detective I am, I ran home and started recording notes. I threw my bag down and zipped it open, rummaging through it. I was trying to look for my keys. I finally found it and instantly jabbed it into the key hole. I twist and turned as the keys jingled. Then, click. I twisted the doorknob and rushed in. I closed the door and locked it. I ran up my stairs, not caring to look at the note that hung on my door.

Once I was in my room, I launched my bag beside my desk and opened one of my drawers. I found a memo pad and a pencil and placed it on the desk. I jotted down some notes.

• Ivy says Aphmau is violent and nasty. True or not? Need more information.

• They both say that they got into a fight.

• Ivy says that Aphmau got detention. I would have to ask more people on this.

• Aphmau says that Ivy started the fight.

•  She also says that Ivy likes Garroth and has taking been out her anger on Aphmau, since she bumped into him.

• Ivy seems to have the reputation as the school bully.

I tapped my pencil on my forehead. I was to think of all the information I had been told. I sighed. I always loved these kinds of things. Being a detective and trying to figure out a mystery. I sank back into my chair and stared up at the ceiling. Then my phone buzzed. I swiped it open, and it was a text from Aphmau.

"Hey. Have you made your decision on who to believe?"

"Not yet, I need some more information."

"Oh, okay. I was wondering if you would like to join Garroth, Laurance, and myself for some pizza?" I hesitated. I don't think I should. But then again, I could get more information from Laurance and Garroth.

"Yeah! Pizza would be great!"

"Good! I'll come pick you up at 6:30. See you then!"

And with that I shut my phone off, and looked at then time. It was 5:00. Wow! It's already five, and all I did was sit here and wrote notes. I still have lots of time to kill, and it doesn't seem that I have any more notes to write down. I took out my homework and planed to finish it in the time being...

I slammed my book closed as I buried my head in my arms. I groaned. I looked at the time, and it was 6:15. I should get ready. I picked myself up and dragged my feet as I walked toward my bathroom. I flicked the lights on and looked at myself in the mirror. I had a pen and pencil stuck in my hair and it was done in a messy bun. I kinda laughed at how I looked. I pulled out the pens and pencils and fixed my hair. I combed it and let it flow.

Once I was pleased of how I looked, I walked back to my room and placed the pen and pencil on my desk. I checked the time again, because I didn't want to be late for this small group meet up. It was 6:25. I was going to bring my memo pad with me, and jot down more notes as we ate, so I picked up my bag and shoved the pad, my phone and some other essentials in there. I heard the doorbell go off. I swung my bag over my shoulder and checked my room in case I forgot anything. I nodded once I knew everything was alright. I rushed down the stairs and opened the door. There, standing, was a very nervous Aphmau, staring at the ground while playing with her thumbs.  When she heard the door open, her head jolted up.

"Oh. Hey (Y/N)..." She stammered as she played with her hair.

"Hi! Are you okay?" She jumped a bit as I closed the door behind me.

"Yeah." She lead me to a car, where Garroth and Laurance were waiting for us. Garroth was in the drivers seat and Laurance sat in the front with him.

"Hey, (Y/N)." Laurance greeted me. I waved in response. I got in with Aphmau behind me. I strapped myself in and Garroth pressed on the gas petal. We decided to go to the nearest pizza place. As we drove, I stared out the window as the street lights passed by. Night was falling and many of the lights were starting to turn on. As the car pulled to a full stop, I opened the door and jumped out. As we walked in, we took in an empty table and settled in.

"Uh, I'm going to use the restroom." Aphmau excused herself. Once Aphmau was out of view, Laurance turned around just to check and turned back.

"You know, she's very worried that you won't believe her." He said as Garroth nodded.

"That's why she wanted to call you over for pizza." I blinked. I remember that I brought my memo pad with me, and rushed to open it. Once I found it, I slapped it on the table making some noise. I brought out my pencil and Laurance and Garroth looked at me.

"What's that?" Laurance asked.

"You'll see." I flipped to the page with my notes. "Okay, so I'm going to ask you two some questions before Aphmau comes back." I told them as they stared at me.

"What do you need to know?" Laurance sank back into his seat and crossed his arms.

"I need you to tell me about Aphmau and Ivy. Is there something going on with them?" There was a small pause.

"Well. I remember Aphmau talking to Ivy and her gang, one day when I was about to take her to school." He stopped to think a bit. "I didn't hear much, but I saw Ivy and her gang laughing at Aphmau..."

• Ivy and her gang were laughing at Aphmau... Why didn't she tell me?

Now I have a few notes, I look over them.

I couldn't get anymore information, since Aphmau came back, and I didn't want to let her know. So, I quickly closed my memo pad and shoved it in my bag. After that we all ate our pizza.
