Hinatid ako ni Damn sa apartment ko ilang minuto din ang nakalipas. We bid goodbye to each other, and the ever usual Damn asked for a kiss goodbye at pinagbigyan ko naman ito. The time he left, I checked my watch, it's already 4 in the afternoon, Damn also said na excused ako sa class kanina. So, ang ginawa ko buong gabi is naligo na ako at nagpahinga.

The next day, narinig ko na lamang ang balita na nag-shift ng course si Andrea sa ibang university. Mediyo na-awa ako sa kaniya, kasi alam ko namang deep inside na naghahanap si Andrea ng taong makaka-intindi sa kaniya. Kung sa tutuusin lang naman eh, willing akong makipag-kaibigan sa kaniya. I feel her pain, nakikita ko kasi sa mga mata niya.

I know I should be happy about the news, yet there's something inside me na sana hindi nangyari ang ginawa niyang pag-shift. Third year na siya, at sayang ang tatlong taong inaksaya niya.

About Damn? Well, mediyo nagkikita naman kami palagi. Busy kasi siya ngayon, sabi nito sa akin kasi madami siyang ginagawa. Fourth year college na kasi ito, and he's taking Chemical Engineering. Ang talino rin pala ng lalaking 'to noh?

And Theo? Well, wala na akong narinig mula sa kaniya simula nang magbreak kami. But deep inside may feelings parin naman ako sa kaniya eh, pero mas malamang na 'yong freedom ko. Kasi finally single na rin ako, at ready na to mingle. Haha. And maybe just maybe, I'm hoping for me and Theo to have a closure although there's still something bugging in me dahil he never became real to me, we were in a relationship pero it looks like I was the only one who had feelings for him.

Days went by, until summer na. Tapos na lahat ng mga problema ko sa school, nakuha ko na rin lahat ng mga requirements na kailangan namin para sa enrolment this May.

So you're asking what I usually do kapag wala nang pasok?

The usual – Reading.

Pero iba ngayon, kasi nandito ako sa loob ng isang bookstore, scanning for some worth to buy and read novels. May mga sikat naman ako na mga novels na nakita sa bookshelf nila, but every story here are too mainstream, and I don't read that type of stories. Especially the romance stories.

"Found any good novels to read?" May narinig akong pamilyar na boses, his husky voice filled out the empty air which had me accompanied a few days ago since he left. Tumingin ako sa kaniya, only to see his deadly piercing eyes and smirk which he always show to me.

May piercing na siya sa left ear niya.

"Damn." Bati ko sa kaniya, hinawakan niya ako sa bewang atsaka niyakap.

"I miss you." Sabi nito sa akin, "Sorry, been busy with thesis lately." Dagdag pa niya. I just nodded.

"Cliché." Mahina kong binulong sa kaniya na natatawa.

He just realised what he did, "Oh, sorry." Tinanggal nito ang pagkakayakap niya sa akin at napakamot ng kaniyang batok.

I just shrugged at him. "So unusual of you to visit a bookstore."

"I always go here." He confidently answered, hands inside his pocket while scanning for some books using his eyes.

He's damn hot, by looking at the way he acts.

Damn.

I meant, damn 'damn' not Damn Saval.

"How come I don't see you often? This is my second hiding spot, exactly in the romance book section." I twitched my brows at him. He looked at me straight in the eyes, while hands are still inside his pocket. He was actually chewing a bubblegum. "How'd you get that piercing?" I asked him instead though. He shrugged.
