Vicky:
Vicky sat on Mrs. Jameson's dinning room table. Earlier in the evening, she mixed together a can of tuna and some mayo to make tuna sandwhiches for her and Aaron.
Aaron sat across of her with a tuna sandwich in his hand. He seemed a little sad that all Mrs. Jameson had was rye, but he seemed appreciative either way.
Before dinnet, Vicky made sure to lock all the doors, close all the windows and shut all the curtains. She didn't want any of those things to see her, let alone get in.
She didn't have the appetite to eat. So she sat and watched Aaron. Every once in a while he would brush his blonde hair out of his eyes or take a sip from his juice pouch.
Vicky sighed and leaned back on her chair. The steady stream of rain outside continued to pour. Vicky go up and walked to one of the lit candles around the room.
She sighed and leaned against the counter top. She watched the small orange flame bounce and move around. Vicky closed her eyes and listened to the sound of the rain outside.
She thought about her family, how they might be in trouble. She thought about her friends back at the school. She hoped and prayed that they'd be alright.
She lets a tear fall down her face, she quickly wiped it away and sat up. She shook her head and opened her eyes. Vicky wouldn't be a pessimist. She would be strong. She will get through this.
She got up and dug through the drawers of the home. She found some matches, some bug spray and a map. While digging through more drawers, she found two water canteens and some canned food. She packed sll the essentials into a bag for her and Aaron.
She placed it by the back door just in case they needed a quick escape.
Vicky also needed things to defend her and Aaron from those monsters. She wandered around the house and looked around in closets. She found and old curtain rod that seemed sturdy enough to pack a punch.
Vicky placed it down in the living room and continued to look around. While walking to the bathroom, an idea struck her. She ran quickly to the craft room and grabbed some duct tape. She ran back to the kitchen and grabbed a long, slim kitchen knife.
Vicky walked over to the curtain rod and tapped the knife to the top of the rod. She made a makeshift spear of sorts and wrapped the duct tape heavily around it.
She gave it a few good swings and a twirl around her fingers. She smiled at her handy work and set it down. Now it was time for protection for Aaron.
She glanced at the dinning room table and frowned. Sitting on the table was Aaron's grilled tuna on rye, but with no Aaron.

Vicky picked up her "spear" and walked throughout the house. She looked in every closet and under the beds. She couldnt find Aaron anywhere.
Vicky began to hyperventilate and started to loudly whisper to him, "Aaron?!"
She felt a cold breeze brush against her back. She turned and saw the front window open. Vicky's heart dropped as she ran to the window.
In the front yard, she saw Aaron sitting in the front yard holding a dog. Across the street she saw some monsters making their way to Aaron.
Vicky muttered a curse under her breath and climbed through the window. She raced across the muddy front yard and held her spear, "Aaron! Get inside!"
Aaron nodded and tried to pull the dog into the house, but he wouldn't move. "Cmon Buddy! It's cold!"
Vicky shook her head, "Aaron? Go. Ill carry him in."
Aaron nodded and ran back to the open window. Vicky turned around and saw more of those monsters aurrounding the home.
She cursed louder and picked up the dog. She ran with him across the muddy lawn and trip. The dog fell out of her arms and ran around the house.
She pounded the earth and scrambled to get up. She picked her spear up and ran behind the house. She shouted to Aaron to shut the window and made her way to the backyard.
She scanned the surrounding area, but couldn't find the dog. She stomped the mud and searched. She looked sround the big tree that was growing in the backyard. The raindrops covered the fresh magoes that grew on the tree.
"This stupid- Ugh!" Vicky shouted as she fell over a rock. She scrapped her knee badly on the rock.
She looked up and saw the dog trying to get under the house. She shook her head and ran to the dog.
She picked it up and managed to get one of the back windows popped open. She turned her head and saw the first monster coming. Vicky frantically threw the dog through the window.
Vicky climbed on Mrs. Jameson's potted plants and tried to climb into the window.
She was walf way in when one of those monsters pulled her back out. She fell in the mud as the monster pounced on her.
Vicky tried to push the monster as far from her as possible. She screamed loudly and threw the monster off of her.
She scrambled to her feet and climned through the window. She manged to turn and shut just as the monster slamed his face in the window.

Vicky sat on the living room floor tending to her wounds with a medkit she found in the bathroom. She ripped off a piece of cloth bandage amd wrapped it around her cut.
The dog she "rescued" layed across Aarons lap, with Aaron scratching behind his ears.
Seconds of silence passed when Aaron spoke up, "Im sorry... I saw my doggy and..." he started to cry.
Vicky got up and limped next to him, she wrapped her arms around him and calmed him with her words.
She held onto Aaron through the night, long after he fell asleep. She felt her eyes getting heavy and eventually drifted off to sleep.
