Kat begins to wake, her vision foggy for reasons unknown. She try's to rub her eyes to help her see, but it only works slightly. She notices that she is strapped down to something and that there is blood everywhere, even where she lays.

She begins to look around the room when she notices a figure in the back... an Old Man and he is preparing something on what looks to be a dresser. She begins to struggle in order to try and get out, attempting to be as quiet as possible when doing so, but the Old Man finishes whatever he was doing and begins to walk over to her.

"Ahhh....You are awake my dear child" The Old Man says in a very deep and rugged voice.

"Who are you? and why am I strapped?" Kat says slightly panicked.

The old man just grins and responds with "Its okay child....my name is not important for now....now, just take a deep breath...".

Kat at this moment spits into the old mans face. The old man's grin fades away into a very displeased frown. He then digs the needle into her arm causing Kat a great amount of pain.

He leans forward and says in her ear "You will thank me later".

"Whats going to happen to me! I don't even know you!" Kat screams at the old man as her vision starts to become hazy once more.

"Its alright, just come find me, at the church" The old man says to her as he walks away laughing to himself. Kat's vision fades to black and she passes out.

Kat begins to wake from the events that just happened. She is no longer tied and that she was laying on a bed. She gets up immediately and bolts straight out of what appears to a bedroom into a hallway. She then runs over to a window looking outside to see the town is in ruins, she opens the window and climbs into it looking down to see how far up she is. Realizing how far the drop is though, she decides to not jump.

When she climbs out of the window back into the building, she begins to walk down the hallways passing by pictures of her and her family. She stops and looks at the pictures beginning to think of events that might of happened in the past, but cannot. So she just assumes her parents have died with knowledge of the ruins outside.

Kat speaks softly to herself "Seeing the ruins.. Something must of happened here.. They probably died."

At this moment a quake hits and begins to shake the area. Rifts of purple and orange energy send shockwaves through the ruins making some buildings begin to collapse and the roof above Kat start to give way.

Kat begins to run to where she would assume the front door is panicking and screaming, "Help!!! Help!! Somebody help!"

She finally manages to reach where the door was but before she could get out she is crushed by debris of the roof. She struggles in order to get out, pulling herself free but her leg is fractured and it hurts to walk on it so she decides to crawl under a coffee table as another Quake hits that is more powerful then the last.

She just lays there shivering in fear as debris continues to collapse within the house. Laying there, hopeless.

The rumbling finally ends and Kat emerges from under the coffee table and begins to look around the destroyed home. She takes some cloth that was torn off of the furniture and ties it around her wound in order to stop the bleeding.

She then stands up and starts to stumble out of the house, when she walks outside the first thing she notices is a giant tremor right in front of her with no bottom in sight.

"What the..." is the only thing she can say at this sight. She decides to head to the left along the tremor while looking out for things.

The path she walked soon has her end up in a courtyard area. The area has several skeleton corpses with Knights and Civilians all over. Swords, Great Swords, and Axes all around the area stuck into the ground, some even with cloth tied around them from follow comrades to honor their deaths. Kat walks over to one that had a Great Sword and trys to lift it up but has some slight troubles due to her low muscle mass.
