He looked at her while she's removing his ring from her hand. She looked so emotionless while giving it back to him.
It's as if she didn't love him.
He held her hand, "What did I do?"
She took her hand from his then looked at him straight in the eyes, "This will make everything easier for the both of us."
With that, she left him shattered and broken hearted.
He didn't know the reason why. She didn't want him to know the reason why.
After days of looking for reasons why she broke up with him, he saw her...with another guy.
She was holding him like her life depends on him. They were both laughing.
He was just staring at the two. He smiled bitterly, 'Will make things easier for the both of us? How ridiculous.' he thought.
The guy saw him staring at them. He whispered something in her ears then she kissed her cheeks.
He mocked a laugh, walked towards the two then punched the guy with all his might.
"Jeff, no!" she exclaimed.
"Is he the reason why, Kristina?" he shouted at her.
They looked at each other. Tears started falling from his eyes.
She looked away and took the guy's hand, "Let's go."
For the second time, she left him there, feeling more shattered and broken than ever.
He was so angry. He hated her. He loved her with all his heart but she left him...she chose someone over him!
"AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!"
He threw the empty bottle of liquor at the mirror. No matter how much he hates her, the pain still reigns in his heart.
He took her picture from his wallet. He remembered the way she laughed while with another guy.
She used to do that with him. She used to laugh with him. She used to cling into him like there's no tomorrow. She used to...
"Did you forget completely?"
He spent long nights by himself, erasing the thought it in his mind.
How could she forget him completely if he's everything for her?
They pass by each other on the streets. No matter how much she avoided, fate still brings her to him. She acted like she doesn't see him. He tried to act like he doesn't see her.
"Ouch!" he heard her say when a man bashed her accidentally.
He was about to help her get up when he saw her fell but the guy she's with helped her stand up.
"Are you okay?" the guy asked.
She nodded and smiled at him, "I'm okay."
He felt so hopeless while looking at the guy guide her as they walk. Maybe it’s time for letting go…
He smiled bitterly, “Always be happy with him, so I won't ever regret letting you go.” He whispered.
