Meeting Everybody

I knew there were ten other kids I guess I just wasn't expecting this. Iv'e had other foster brothers and sisters before, but never this many.

"Hey Trixy, good to see you up! It's pizza night, pick a seat!" exclaims Violet gesturing to the twelve seats surrounding the wooden table. One of which being a high chair. I pick a seat near the end of the table. Everyone who isn't already sitting sits down and I get a chance took look around the table at them all. They are all are a range of ages from infant to almost 18. "Well now that we're all here I would like all of you to meet Trixy," Violet points at me smiling, "How about we all introduce ourselves. Say your name, age, and how long you've been here!"

"Ooo, me first! Me first!" Says a little boy around the age of four. He's cute with tan skin, big blue eyes that you can hardly see because of his sandy blonde curls.

Violet smiles, "Alright Ivan you go first."

"I'm Ivan, I'm four years old," He says holding four fingers high up in the air, "and I've been here for a year." He gives me the cutest, biggest smile that I can't help but grin.

"Why don't we go in a circle so... your up next Mikayla!" says Violet pointing to a tall girl around my age with long brown hair, small black eyes and a long curved noise. She has an annoyed look on her face that says she would like nothing more than to stick her tongue down some random guys throat instead of being here. And now that I think about it, it's probably true.

"I'm Mikayla, I'm 16, and I've been here for three weeks," she says in a rushed annoyed voice.

"I'm Lily, I'm 14, and I've been here for four months!" Lily says in the chirpiest voice I have ever heard in my life. She has Brown hair that is pulled in to a tight pony tail on the top of her head in one big perfect curl, like those cheer leaders you see on TV. She has smooth fair skin, big green eyes, and of course, the most adorable outfit. I mean come on, really? She's peppy and pretty!

"I'm Drake," and your fudging hot! (I substitute food for swears. What can I say? It makes life more interesting.), "I'm 17, and I've been here for one year." Drake is dreamy. Like the kind of dreamy in movies when the hot life guard walks out of the water after saving an innocent little girls life. He has perfectly chiseled cheek bones, sandy blonde hair that drapes over the most gorgoeus blue eyes I've ever seen.

"I'm Daisy, I'm 15, and Iv'e been here for a month." Says Daisy pulling me out of my fantasy. Like Mikayla, Daisy seems to have no interest in being here.

"I'm Eric," I don't know why, but for some reason I feel like I know him, "I'm 15, and I've been here for two weeks." He's cute, but in a different way than Drake. He has short blonde hair, fair skin, and green eyes that look like emeralds. The thing about him that seems so strange is the way he looks at me, as if he's seen a ghost. I can't seem to shake off his stare.

"I'm Meghan! I'm twelve and I've been here for two years," Megan has long, curly bright red hair that reminds me of Merida from Brave. Her eyes are a bright green, and she has fair skin that's covered in about a million freckles.  She looks shy yet cheerful at the same time.

"My name is Amelia, I'm six years old and I've been here for three years." The girl is small and has dark black hair that is braided and full of rainbow beads. She has big black eyes and the sweetest little face.

"My names Tommy, I'm five years old, and I've been here for nine months," Tommy has short brown hair and is really tiny even for a five year old.

"This is Mathew. He's two months old and he was brought here a week after he was born," Says Violet picking up the little boy who is sitting in the high chair next to her, "Now your officially part of our clan, " Violet says smiling at me.

                                                                           ~~~~~
Finally it's my turn to use the bathroom! It took forever because Violet makes the younger kids go first so we have time to get ready for bed. Annoyed I knock on the bathroom door so that the person on the other side will hurry up, they've been taking so long I think my legs are numb. Finally Eric opens the door and steps out.
"Hi," He says and once again looks at me as if he has seen a ghost.
"Hi," I reply confused.
"You do remember me, don't you?" He asks hopefully.
"Honestly, No," I answer hesitantly.
"You really don't remember?" He asks again.
"I sort of recognize you," I reply.He looks at the ground. "So how do you know me?" I ask generally curious.
"It doesn't matter, I think it's better that the past stays in the past," He replies and walks to his room. I must look like such an idiot just standing there gaping in the middle of the hallway, but I couldn't help it. How could someone be so cruel as to drop a bomb like that without giving the whole story?
