"Today is the day!", said mom.

"Mom, I don't want to go to this camp. Just because dad and you met there, does not mean that I have to go to it!", I said my voice slowly elevating.

"I don't care what you want to do and what you don't want to do! Your father said he wanted you to go to that camp so you are going to that camp!", mom snapped angrily.

After those sentences the car was silent the rest of the way there.

My dad died two years ago, and my mom has been raising me on her own. Before my dad died, he said that he wanted me to go his favorite summer camp, Camp Bear Claw. I know it was what my dad wanted, but I went there and it was a dump. The cabins were old and falling apart and that is not even the worst part. NO AIR CONDITIONING!! Yeah, that's right! It is one-hundred degrees outside and I will have to suffer through it. THE WHOLE SUMMER! This is all like a big punishment for doing nothing wrong! WORST SUMMER EVER!!!
