I need to talk to you. xx

Was all it said. I furrowed my eyebrows, a small frown appearing on my lips. He normally would put a winkey or smiley face at the end of a text, or he wouldn't end the sentence with a subtle period. My stomach swirled with a feeling that something was wrong.

        Okay.. about what? Xox

I set the phone down and waited for a reply.

We can talk this weekend, when I get back from London. xx

I scrunched my eyebrows together and clicked Louis' contact. I hit the 'call' button and waited as the phone rang, and rang. It rang until I reached his voice mail. I knew he ignored it, his phone is obviously on him if he was just texting me. I called again, this time I left him a voice mail,

"Hey babe, what's going on? Call me back when you get this, okay? Love you." I hung up the cell phone and waited.

        He didn't call back.

That's when I started to worry. Something serious had to be going on. Louis was a joker I had to admit, but he wouldn't ignore my calls. I shut off the coffee maker and ran up stairs to my bedroom. There I grabbed my overnight bag and started stuffing clothing in it.  I grabbed my toothbrush and comb then ran downstairs. I stuffed my phone in the back pocket of my jeans then grabbed a stray paper on the counter.

Going to London for the weekend with Louis.

call me if you need anything.

        I scribbled.

If he wouldn't come to me, then I was going to go to him.

Louis

I sat on the couch, my phone now turned off. I couldn't talk to Katie, I wouldn't know what to say to her. I, of course  wouldn't end things over phone, even if it would be easier; I wouldn't have to see the hurt in her eyes.

That's why I decided not to talk to her until I go back to Doncaster, in two days. I could then think over what I should say to her, what words will have the least pain.

I leaned back on the couch and sighed. I didn't know if I could deal without seeing Katie again. I thought back to the day when my mother told me the Bay's were inviting us for dinner, and that Katie had come back. I was so nervous mixed with excitement and happiness, it felt wonderful; I felt that every time I was with Katie.

I couldn't even list all the things I loved about her, there was too much. Her eyes; the prettiest blue color with grey speckled everywhere. You could just stare into her eyes and feel an overwhelming sense of love. Her skin was always soft; always. It was slightly pale, though perfect just for her. Her smile... her smile could be listed under the definition of perfect.  She had the cutest dimple on her left cheek. She was beautiful.

So was her personality. She laughed at everything, her sense of humor was one I've never been around. She was also the sweetest person I've come to know; she'd help anyone with a problem even if she didn't know them personally. Most of all, when she fell in love, she put her whole self out there, I've never had any doubt that Katie wasn't in love with me. I could feel it everytime she looked at me. Everytime I'm with her, I feel like I'm at home, she's my home. She's my love.

My thoughts came to a halt when I heard a knock at the door. I stood slowly from the sofa, coming out of my self-pity. I walked over to where the knock was placed, and opened the door easily.

        "Hey." I breathed. Eleanor smiled,

        "Hey."

"So we can start seeing each other around July, that will mean you and Katie would have been separated for four months." Eleanor spoke looking at the calendar in her hands; for the past two and a half hours we had been planning details for our getting-back-together plan. She moved on to the laptop, "Oo! We can 'run' into eachother at this new cafe and we can sit together. The windows are really big and it'll be really easy for us to be photographed." Eleanor said as she quickly typed up the cafe's destination. I sighed,

"Yeah." I said. I really wasn't into any of this; I was still currently in a relationship. Eleanor looked over and her eyes held sympathy,

"I'm sorry." She said. I shook my head,

        "It's not your fault."

"Yes it is! I could've never agreed." She argued. I will admit, I did hope for her not to agree, maybe then I wouldn't be forced to date her, but it wasn't her fault.

"He would've kicked you out of your university, El really, It's my fault for getting you involved in all of this." I stated truthfully. If I had never dated Eleanor, then she wouldn't have been brought into the fame filled with lies and scandals.

"I can always get into another university. It's you who is losing someone you deeply care about, Lou." She said. I shook my head,

        "Katie's better off without me."

        "Louis." Eleanor sighed.

        "I haven't even ended things yet. I can't."

"Are you going to tell her your management is forcing you too?" She asked, her eyes wide.

        "No."

        "Why not?"

"Because I don't want her to wait for me. I want her to find someone who has a normal life, a normal job, someone who won't bring along ruthless fans who call out her insecurities and send her death threats. I want her to live in a small house and drink tea with her husband without closing the curtains so they're not photographed.  I want her to be able to go places and do big things without the help from her "celebrity boyfriend". I want her to be happy and in love; she can't with me." Saying the words made it seem awfully real; I was going to break up with Katie.

Eleanor placed her hand on mine and gave it a small squeeze,

"Even with the fans, paparazzi, your fame, she will always be happy with you Louis. She loves you." Eleanor said quietly. She gave my hand another squeeze, "I should get going." She stood up and I walked her to the door.

"I'll call you to make plans." I said, opening the door. Eleanor nodded. She gave me a quick kiss on the cheek,

"Good luck with Katie." She said before walking out the door. I shut it quickly before walking back to the kitchen. I grabbed a water bottle and a leftover piece of pizza out of the fridge and made my way back to the couch. I took a large bite of the pizza and grabbed the remote off the coffee table. Right as I was about to turn on the telly, another knock was at the door.
