Hey guys! Sorry for updating so late! I know I always do this but I’m always so busy! School just started last Wednesday and everything was just so hectic.

I know this chapter is short but it’s the best I could come up with.

Hope you guys like it!

(Damien’s view)

Watching Sabre closely, Damien pushed Carmina behind him, his fangs slowly coming out into view as a threat to not come forward.

“Damien, who is it?” Carmina asked, fear and worry laced in her words. He growled at Sabre, annoyed at the fact that he was frightening Carmina.

“Oh, come on. I’m pretty sure Damien has mentioned his long, lost friend to you at least once,” Sabre told her, ignoring Damien’s attempts of trying to scare him away. “Care to introduce her to me, Damien?”

Damien growled, his fangs in full view now.

Just as he was about to run towards Sabre and rip his neck right off his shoulders, a small pair of hands wrapped around his waist, causing electric vibes to run through his body. He turned around cautiously, not taking his eyes off Sabre and wrapped his arms around Carmina pulling her impossibly closer to him.

Noticing her shaking, he glared at his enemy getting angrier, now knowing that Carmina was becoming afraid. He’d have to do something about it otherwise she’d fall ill because of all the fright.

“I’m giving you one chance to leave now without saying a word or else-” he started but was rudely cut off.

“Or else what?” Sabre growled, tired off the threat and glares Damien was sending him.

“Or else he’ll rip your ears off and run to the jungle to feed it the lions. Only to come back and cut your toes off so he can shove it down your throat which will cause some choking to death; but I won’t let you die. ‘cause I wanna get a part of your torture as well and don’t ask me what I’m gonna do because it’s a secret. And tell your family to not get worried about planning the funeral because I’ll personally plan it so I can invite myself and spit in your grave just like I did when your grandfather died,” Carmina retorted, without taking any breaths in between.

Whoa, where did all that fear disappear to?

“Two things. One - my grandfather is still alive and two- who the f*ck told you to-” Sabre started but was cut off by Damien.

“I suggest you watch your tone, dimwit, especially after you know what punishments I give to people who annoy me,” he smirked, remembering the most recent memory of him and Sabre. Boy, was that day fun or what?

“Hasn’t your mother taught you any manners?” Sabre asked rhetorically.
