POKEMON: RETRIBUTION(Pokemon Watty Awards 2014)

CHAPTER :4

Sleep buzzed from Misty's eyes as the half cracked door flew dim light into the room. Misty quickly noticed the two other girls quietly sleeping in bunks across from her, her Azuril also sleeping; it's tail wrapped beautifully around its body.

Misty decided to force her self back to sleep, The rocking of the ship against the calm water should of been enough to grant her peaceful sleep.

But still; she couldn't shake the felling that something was terribly wrong...

"Pip?" Misty turned and saw Piplup, its head crooked in question.

"Hi piplup... You should really get some slee-"

Misty was startled by the sudden flash of light illuminating the dark room. The light erupted from her red backpack, revealing the yellow monstrosity that was psyduck.

Confused as always, it tilted it's head to the right. As if trying to comprehend something it couldn't understand.

"Psyduck!" Misty tried to keep her bolling temperature to something much more cooler, as to not awaken Dawn and May, but the transition was much to difficult.

"Who told you you could leave your poke ball? "

"Pip-Pip-lup!" The pokemon said waving its fin in such a manner that it fell off dawn's top bunk with a thud.

Misty noticed that Piplup was trying to hold back tears. Unwilling to see the pokemon cry, Misty flew from her bed and in one stride held Piplup in her arms.

Also crying, Psyduck raced out of the room.

"Psyduck, no come back!"

Griping Piplup tightly she trailed after psyduck. Leaving the room behind her, Misty steeped into the magnificent deck of the ship.

The floor boards were polished to perfection, The dinning tables gave off a sense of elegancy. Despite the current situation Misty was in, the crashing waves of sea water against the side of the ship gave of a feeling of peace.

Under the bright luminous full moon, multiple water pokemon were splashing in and out of the water in such unison Misty thought it could of been one of the water shows the cerulean city gym was known for.

Misty felt Piplup's beak peck against her forearm, reminding her of the matter at hand.

"Right." Misty mumbled under her breath.

Misty looked for her Psyduck underneath dinning tables, in the ship's dirty laundry bins, the ships cafeteria(Only after stopping to get some food for her and Piplup.)

After stopping at the edge of the ship, Misty found something that wasn't what she was looking for.

Gary... what was Gary doing here?

Not knowing if it would be safe to make a meet and greet, Misty stopped at a corner behind a wall, so with any luck Gary wouldn't see her.

"Yes, yes there here. There doing what was giving of them ."

Gary said to a voice misty couldn't hear. But from the rumbling of the phone Gary had stuck to his ear he was talking to someone misty would go out of her way to avoid.

"Yes sir. Team rocket is set to come abroad ..."

Misty couldn't believed what she was hearing. "Please, Don't hurt my grandfather . I'm doing everything you asked of me."

Misty saw Gary stoop his head down, a tear trailing his check. This wasn't the Gary misty knew. The fierce rival turned pokemon doctor wouldn't be caught crying in front of ash.

Something was wrong... Trapped in thought, misty couldn't hear the last words of conversation.

She tugged harder at piplup for comfort . Seconds latter Gary was out of sight and out of mind.

Moment's later Misty came across her psyduck stuck between two life vest. She couldn't help but release a series of giggles.

"Come on Psyduck."

After psyduck was loose it flung it self at misty, hugging her legs. Misty retaliated by patting the top of psyducks head. Together, Misty, Piplup and psyduck walked back to there cabin.

Misty was excited to get sleep, something she was lacking due to worries, But she did know one thing, come morning she was bound to tell May and Dawn what she heard tonight. And that laying there worries aside was a huge mistake.

Something huge was about to hit, And misty wasn't so sure she was ready for it...
