Chapter 11

Ashley POV

As me and Andy pushed through the doors it was just like yesterday. Everyone stopped and stared. I stopped, frozen in place. Andy then turned to me, took both of my hands in his and looked me straight in the eye.

"It's going to be okay. Just look straight ahead." He whispered before turning back around and starting to walk down the hallway. I shook out of my daze and ran after him and grabbing his hand once I caught up with him. Andy smiled at me and lightly squeezed my hand in assurance.

Time Lapse: At Lunch

(AN- I'm eating a sandwich as I'm writing this :p)

Ashley POV

I walked to lunch alone with my head down, knowing that Derek and the rest of the team were already at lunch. I walked into the cafeteria and scanned the room until I saw Andy waving me over to a table by the far end. I smiled and started to make my way towards them when I felt something round and hard hit the back of my head. I turned around and looked down at an apple. I sighed and walked a little faster towards Andy's table. I kept my gaze on the ground so I didnt notice that Andy had gotten up and started to walk towards me so I ran right into him, stumbling backwards. The entire cafeteria then started to laugh. I felt my face flush as I walked back to Andy and buried my face into his chest, inhaling his amazing scent. After lunch, Andy, CC, Jake, Jinxx, Alexia, and I all had last period together.

"Okay class, today you will be working in groups of three to identify the different types of figurative language. Now, you all have been working with this since sixth grade so I expect that by Junior year this is quite easy." Ms. Perry explained to the class. Mine and Andy's eyes interlocked and he slightly nodded. I grinned and nodded back.

"You may begin choose your groups." Andy shot up out of his desk and walked over to mine and waved Alexia over. She happily skipped over and sat at the desk in front of me. We moved our desks together and sat quietly before Alexia suddenly said, "You know, I can see why Andy has obsessed over you since sixth grade. I would totally tap that if you weren't gay." My mouth dropped open and Andy slapped Alexia in the arms making her squeak and rub her arm.

"Would you shut up?!" Andy exclaimed, his face cherry red. I laughed quietly to myself as they started arguing about how Alexia had the right to say that. By this time, the class was quiet and staring at us.

"Guys. GUYS! shut up." I said waving my hand in between them. They both looked at me bewildered before realizing that they were the only ones talking.

Time Lapse: After School

Andy POV

I parked in Ashley's driveway and studied his features for a moment before Ashley asked, "what?"

"What? Oh nothing. Just trying to comprehend how it is possible that one human being can be so stunning." He blushed and looked down. After a moment or two, I leaned over and planted my lips on his soft cheek. I pulled away and took a short breath before Ashley smashed his lips to mine. I sighed and kissed back, our lips moving in sync until we heard the Alyssa running outside and yelling. We quickly parted and sat back as Alyssa opened the passenger side door and jumped into Ashley's lap.

"Thank goodness you're finally home Ashley!" She squealed and wrapped her short arms around his neck.

"And it's good to see you again Mr. Andy!" She exclaimed waving vigorously at me.

"Well hello again, Miss Alyssa." I said grinning at her. She giggled in response before jumping back out of the car and running back inside.

"I should probably go.." Ashley trailed off giving me a sideways glance. 

"Yea. Probably..." I said in response. 

"But not before I give you something."

"Oh? and what's that?" I asked smirking.

"This." He said the gave me a quick kiss on the lips before climbing out of the car and walking into his house.
