Schools starts in three days, my last year of high school. And I wasn't even ready! I still had to go school supply shopping, clothes shopping, and find a daycare for Carson to attend to. Since my dad had to work, and I had school to go to there was nobody to take care of Carson at home. I decided that I was going to start my school shopping today, starting with school supplies. I walked into my closet and pulled on a comfy sweater, and black leggings. I pulled my long burnette hair into a messy bun and popped in a jeweled headband. I grabbed Carson out of her crib, changed her diaper, and got her dressed, into a cute toddler jumpsuit.

I skipped down the stairs and walked into the kitchen, looking for my dad. I found him slumped over the kitchen island, his head on a pile of papers. I grabbed a blanket from the shelf and covered him up. My mom loved blankets. So she went crazy with them, and bought a ton with different patterns and styles. She made sure that there were plenty in each room. I left a note telling my dad where I was going, and slipped on my black Vans. I stepped out of my front door, walked to my black Honda civic, buckled Carson into her carseat, and got into the front seat. I looked over to my right, and saw that my neighbor's for sale sign now said sold on it. "Finally it's sold," I thought to myself. I started the car and peeled out of the long driveway, and drove to the nearest supplies store.

When we reached the store, I got out, and pulled a happy Carson out of her car seat, and into her stroller. Inside the store, I collected all my needed supplies, and stood in a long line to the cash register. Our town is small, so there is only to cash registers and one store clerk. I heard a burst of laughter erupt from behind me, and slowly turned around me. Behind me, stood the most gorgeous boy behind me. He laughed again, at something his friend had said, flashing his bright white teeth. They would probably blind me if I stared too long! I looked into his piercing blue eyes, and my heart stopped, and to make things even more shocking, he gave me a flirty wink! I've never felt my heart act like this before! It felt like it was going to burst right out of my chest! I quickly turned around, and realized that it was my turn to check-out.

I quickly paid and tried to get out of the building as fast as I could. But being my clumsy usual self, I knocked over a huge pile of boxed crackers with the stroller. As I watched all the boxes tumble over, I heard a throat clear behind me. I quickly spun around and ran smack dab into a wall, or what felt like a wall. I stumbled back, grabbing my nose, and looked up into shiny blue eyes. I recognized these eyes! My eyes widened as I realized that it was the very same boy who had flirtatiously winked at me!
