(YO, IM SORRY IF ANY OF THIS IS INCORRECT; I AM NOT AMERICAN OR KOREAN. BUT IT JUST FIT OKAY. I hope I won't be racist somehow in any form possible. If there's something I got wrong, please let me know.)

"Hi."
The class was silent. It was a bigger class than what she was used to.
"My name..."
Looking around, students eyed her.
"Is uh..."
The students had different attitudes than the American ones. These students didn't speak a word.
"Malla. Irawan... Malla."
She took a breath of relief. In American schools, you didn't have to introduce yourself like this. Just join the class and go; simple. But introducing herself was considered manners, and Malla couldn't disagree with it.

"Okay, Ms. Irawan. Would be so kind as to tell us about yourself?" The middle-aged male teacher said, shifting up his silver rimmed glasses. Malla nodded in agreement.

"I was born in Indonesia, but I moved to America, so therefore I was an American citizen instead. But I got an offer from this school to be an exchange student, so here I am. I don't know why everyone thinks I'm smart. Just because I'm an exchange student doesn't mean I'm a genius, remember." Malla said, looking around the room.

Some students gave confused looks. Some students weren't listening.
One student was asleep.

"Very interesting. You might not think you are smart, but you must know that you have a lot of intelligence if you were chosen to move here. Aside from that, it's nice to meet you." The teacher smiled, before turning to the class, only to notice a sleeping student. "Ms. Malla, you can have a seat next to that student sleeping, in other words, next to Park Jimin." The teacher said pointing to a seat in between the window and the sleeping student. The teacher hoped that by saying his name, he would wake up. But it didn't work.

"Here?" Malla asked for confirmation, ready to sit down. "Yes, that's it. Just next to PARK JIMIN." The teacher confirmed, exaggerating the sleeping students name loudly. Malla turned to her left, noticing he was still asleep. He must be a heavy sleeper. The teacher sighed loudly and walked over to this student who was supposedly named 'Park Jimin'.

"Jimin." Said the teacher, nudging him slightly.

"..." The student said nothing but breathes heavily.

"PARK JIMIN." The teacher says again, moving the table away the student was lying his head on, so his head would fall. The other students laughed at the sight, and Malla found herself laughing too. "Students, you shouldn't laugh. Jimin is setting a bad example." The teacher sighed as the sleepy student woke up.

"...Wha..?" Jimin yawned and stretched. The students couldn't stop laughing. 'What a funny person,' Malla thought, smiling. Teacher walked back to his desk. Jimin rubbed his eyes, looking to his right. He noticed a face he's never seen.

"Who're you..? Don't worry, I end up sitting in the wrong class too sometimes. So awkward, right?" Jimin laughed, patting Malla on the back harshly, but in a friendly manner.

'He must think I'm from a different class, huh.' Malla thought, laughing to herself on the inside.

"Actually, I'm new here. I'm in the right class. My name is Malla Irawan. I already know your name, don't worry." Malla smiled.

"You know my name? I haven't even told you it yet! Are you psychic? Do you stalk me? Are you just really smart? Or MAYBE-"

"PARK JIMIN." The teacher said firmly from the front of the class. Everyone turned their heads toward Jimin. He smiled sheepishly, rubbing a hand behind his head awkwardly. "Do you need to be sent outside or to the principles office?" The teacher asked raising an eyebrow.

"...No." Jimin huffed and turned away.

'What a funny person.' Malla thought.
