Chapter 12: Everything's Changing

"Um...." David said.

I felt a feeling within me that I was in the wrong place. A weird feeling, I couldn't describe it even if I tried.

I didn't know what to do. David walked towards me, he looked worried for me. The more he walked towards me, the greater the feeling got, although, this wasn't the feeling one got around a crush. It felt evil.

David put his hand on my shoulder. The feeling overwhelmed me, I did what anyone would do. I ran, I ran back to my room, back to the protection of my room.

I whipped open the door to find the room empty. Victoria must have gone to the cafeteria. The cafeteria! I ran through the twists and turns and up the stairs. The cafeteria had tons of people everywhere. I sat at the table where our group always sits.

I was breathing hard from all the running.

"You still haven't told me what's wrong," David said from across the table, it made me almost jump out of my skin.

"Oh, um..." I said, I couldn't get the words out of my mouth.

"Rebekah, do you need to go to the nurse's office?" Angelica said. I looked at her, her once blue eyes were now ivy green. I kept getting different feelings inside me each time I looked at each of the people at the table.

Angelica was a dark yet happy feeling. Victoria was a slight dark feeling. David was the feeling I had in the library. Beatrice was the same as David. Zachary was a dark feeling, as dark was midnight with a new moon.

I noticed that all their eyes had changed color as well. David and Beatrice had blood red eyes. Zachary had white iris' while Angelica's were green. Victoria had purple eyes.

"Oh my God! Since when did eyes change color?" I said.

Angelica gave Victoria a slight nod. That was all I saw before darkness consumed me.
