Chapter 3: The move

The next morning while Kadie's mother was in the kitchen making breakfast, her father called her downstairs. "Khadija!!!", he yelled. "YEAH?!!", she answered as she ran down the steps. "Yea?", she added. "How many times have Your mother and I told you when adult is calling you, you either say yes ma'am, yes sir, or yes please?", he said. "omg, daddy i---", her father interrupted and said, "Back when i was a school boy in Africa, whenever the teacher or anybody called our names, we say "YES SIR", with respeck. But you American kids today, all you know how to do is eat and sleep all day", he said with an affirmative tone. Kadie quickly sucked her teeth and let out a big sigh. "You know what, your attitude these days is really started to piss me off. You better cut it or ill cut you", he said with his thick accent. "Now go back up to your room and act like you have home training". Kadie stormed up to her room mumbling under her breath. As she walked up the steps her phone rang, it was Olivia. "Kadieeee guess what?!", Olivia said. "Lol, girrl what!", Kadie replied. "Quan and his cousin are throwing a house party in Brickwood, and me and you are going", Olivia added. "Umm..... I don't know if you realized this but my parents are strict as hell", Kadie said with aggression. "Kadie you're so DRY, you're gonna be 18 soon you need to live a little, damn!", Olivia insisted. "Well unless you plan on finessing my parents, goodluck", Kadie implied. "Kadie, I swear I have so much to teach you lol. Just ask ya momma and ya daddy if you can sleep over my house, i got the free crib maybe we could call up a few people to kickback with after the party", Olivia said with hope. "IF THEY SAY YES, THAT WOULD BE A MIRACLE", Kadie shouted. "Alright, bet, go ask them and keep me on the line", Olivia replied. Kadie quickly ran down the steps and sat next to her dad. "What is it, Kadie?", he said as if he knew she was up to something. "Daddy you know i've been doing well in school and I always bring home good grades, and lately ive been helping mommy around, so I was wondering if I could sleep over Olivia's house, pleasee?", Kadie begged. "Hmmm.... Which of your friends is Olivia?", he asked. "She's the one I usually tell you about, my best friend", Kadie replied. "Is she responsible?", he asked. "Yes dad", she answered. He paused for a few seconds before he finally said, "okay, just make sure you behave when you arrive there, I trust you.", he said. "THANK YOU SO MUCH DADDY!", Kadie said as she gave him the tightest hug. She then ran up stairs to finish he convo with Olivia. "Girrrrrl did you hear him?!", Kadie shouted. "Yassssss tonight finna be lit!", Olivia added. "Omg, aight ima call you back so i can pick out what ima wear tonight", Kadie added while looking in her closet. "Alright girl, ima text you when i'm coming over.", Olivia said. "Alright girl, bye". As Kadie hung up she got a message on Hush.

Hours went by and Olivia finally arrived at Kadie's house. "Mommy! Daddy! Olivia's here im leavingg!", kadie said. "Hey, hey, hey, come back here.", her mom said. "At least give us a hug & kiss", she added. "Fineeee", Kadie said. She ran to her parents, kissed them each on the cheek, and ran out to Olivia's car. As they drove, they were listening to Rihanna and Drake. When they finally arrived at Olivia's house, they started to change and get ready for the party. "Girrrrrrl, we finna slay today, like ayyyy", olivia said with excitement. "Lls rightt, hurry up so we can go!", Kadie said eagerly.
After several minutes of preparation, the girls were finally off to the party. When they arrived, they could hear the bass outside the house party. "We finna be litttt", Kadie said with excitement. As they made their way inside, the hole room was dark with flashing colored lights. It was like the opening scene from Belly. twerking, blunts rolling with the game leaf and backwoods in the air, and the glowing eyes of everyone filled the entire room. As Olivia and Kadie were dancing their asses off, they saw some friends of theirs from school and they immediately linked up. They had bottles and weed going around, it was like a movie. Kadie was having a blast, she turned to Olivia and said, "omgg I have never been so turnt in my life!" That's when Olivia said," SEE, I TOLD YOU, YOU NEEDA LOOSEN UP AND LET ME SHOW YOU THE NIGHT LIFE!" Just as Kadie started twerking again when her song came on, a tall, handsome, darkskin dude came behind her and grabbed her waist and whispered in her ear, "damn we ain't even go out yet and you already all up on me." She noticed the voice was familiar.....too familiar. As she turned around, she looked at the strange guy with confusion and said, "Cameron?????" He playfully clapped and said, "good girrrl 😆👏🏾." That's when her eyes lit up and she hugged him tightly then said, "boy shut up, im not a dog 😒." "Yeah, yeah, whatever, gimmie another hug girl", he said. "So wait, what are you doing here?", Kadie asked. "It's my cousins party, and he wanted me to come through and show love. But why are you here young lady?", he said. "I came out with my best friend", Kadie said as she gestured Olivia to come over. Olivia came up and said," what's up?" "Olivia this is Cameron, Cameron this is my bestie Olivia". "Wassup", Cameron said as he nodded. "Hi Cameron", Olivia said in a flirty tone. Kadie gave Olivia a sort of side eye look and said, "yea so Cameron, can we go talk somewhere?" He replied, "yeah, sure." They walked out the mansion and started walking down the street. "Wow, who woulda thought miss goodie goodie can turn up 😂", Cameron said. "I hope you know you're not funny", Kadie said trying not to smile. "Nah but forreal though, you look cute tonight", he said. "I know", she replied. Cameron sucked his and teeth and said "i hate when u do that , bruh". "aight aight, chill crybaby, "thank you Cameron you are very kind 😪", happy?", she said.
