An appalling pain went shooting throughout my ribs. I couldn't move. I couldn't breathe. I looked over my shoulder and saw my mother lying next to me unconscious. I tried to scream her name but nothing came out. Blood was all over her body. I look down and see my body looks like hers, it is also covered in blood.
I want to get out of here. I'm in pain. I need to move and be free. But I can't. My body won't let me. All I can do is wait. Wait for help to come.
A loud siren came roaring up near by. I can hear voices outside.
Glass is breaking underneath the feet that are walking towards my mother and I with a loud crunch.
An arm wrapped around my head and legs and attempted to get me out. I opened my mouth automatically and screamed in pain. I've never felt something this horrible before.
An older man with brown hair and some greys here and there placed me onto a stretcher.
The sound of tires screeching against the pavement as we tried to stop, are still fresh in my ears. The truck that hit us is smashed in the front but not nearly as bad as what ours is.
I can now see how badly our car was hit. Glass is surrounding it. The car that was once a workable grey Honda Civic sports car, now looks as if a student crumpled a piece of paper, threw it across the room and stepped onto it. With my mother inside.
She's my only family member left that I know of.
