Wolf tribes were tense as the time to pick the king alpha came nearer. There were 18 tribes in the area. 6 of which are unpure. Leaving 12 tribes left to compete. The elders would choose the alpha king who could trump all other alphas in a fight till the first person fainted. My mum was pregnant with my sister whilst the alphas trained. One of the elders had struck a deal with us. As long as your second child is alive the prophecy will continue. Only alphas or humans can kill the child. My sister was bound a long life of being indoors. The elder granted the powers of the moon to my father so he could win. They knew they could persuade him because he was old and not as agile as the other alphas giving him a disadvantage.

7years later

We were preparing for Kate's surprise 7 year old party. Kate was so excited to finally go outside.

Kate's pov.

I was so excited for my birthday. I would get the pressies and go outside for the first time in my life(no frozen singing) . Dad led me outside to the woods. "Surprise!!!" Everyone said.
To me this was the best thing in the world. I was so hyped. Dad looked a little down though. He seemed lost in thought.

2 hours later after the party

My sister was heading back with her friends, but me I didn't have any friends. Being stuck inside all the time really takes a toll on your social life. When we get back father comes into my room. He lifts me out of the bed."come on. We have to go!"
He puts me in the middle of nowhere and walks off."wait daddy"I yell to him,"what about me?"
I was so confused.
