It was a cold, blistery night. No soul was outside, not even Jenny, who loved the rain. In fact, Jane wasn't reading about either, animals or fairytales, the only person doing anything was Rea.
"Alright people! Get to work! Stop loafing around slaves, I am your master, mom says so." Rea commanded them, annoyingly. "Wow, the only power she will ever have, is "Queen Shea'" The twins recited together, as if they've done this before. "Guys! What did I tell you? I said' Listen to your sister, and obey her every word. Did I not make myself clear!" Queen Shea rebuked. "Yes ma'am." the twins replied in unison. "Good, now get to work!"
Queen Shea strolled out of the room, and turned into her lush, golden room. She owned this land, the whole country. The only reason she remarried, was because she wanted more money, and kids to boss around. Her husband died from stress because she kept on screaming for ugly little girls and boys to boss around.
Grandpa Connor strolled onto the room. " What's going on, kids? Yes, I know Rea, your not a kid, but in my eyes, you are. So, stop rolling your eyes at me. Oh hi Js, I've got some work for you to do in the basement, come along." "Wait a minute, they are under MY control, not yours. For I am Princess..." She started but was interrupted by Connor, Jenny and Jane replying " Yes, yes, we all know, 'Princess Rea, of the magnificent Switzerland of the east.' So what?" "Oh, I'm going to tell on you. Mother, mother, mother, MOTHER!" She screamed. Soon, Queen Shea came out half asleep and said, " Mother, HG (horrible grandfather) is taking my slaves away from me!"
"Too bad, I have already heard his reason, and I gave him permission. Up here, is a lot cleaner than down there, and downer isn't the prison. So shut up Rea, and let it go and let me sleep." Queen Shea replied, sleepily.
Jenny, Jane, and Conner walked down the long stairway, Jane, in all her wisdom, decided to count the steps. They equaled to 1290 steps! Connor went ahead and looked around. "It should be around here somewhere..." He started, but was cut off by Jane. "What is down here? I thought you said we needed to clean." " Well, I lied, Connor replied, "But it was for a good cause, but I'll let you be the judge. Come on!" He led them over to a tall closet. He opened it, and it was full of stuff. There was a glass slipper, a lock of hair, and more. It had hundreds of books! But, there was 1 book that caught their eye. It was a giant book, and on the cover, it read, The Land Of Stories. He said," Well, I didn't tell you to come down here to show you things, come, help me move everything out of here." They worked hard, and soon, they had it all cleared out.
He told them the whole story. About how his father died, how they bore through it, and their grandma gave them a special book, a book that took them to a special land. The experiences they had. And when they came back, how part of her sister was gone, like part of it belonged in that land. He explained how they went a second time, saved the land, and how no body could come back. Or at least they thought. His sister stayed behind. He was the writer. His siter was a fairy. Their grandmother was THE fairy godmother. So, his sis was the next in line, and now is the fairy godmother.
"It's time for you to take a trip. In here, you see, is a beautifully carved trapdoor. Your job, is to jump in, fall in, or use any means to get in it. Understand?" Connor continued. "When you do, yo will be in it, and you can chose to live there, or here. I'm giving you an option. Now pick."
