equal?

today

i was walking through the store

and i stumbled upon some cards

you know the kind

for birthdays and weddings

and the like

but imagine my surprise

when i found a section of these cards

specifically for purchase from

"people of color"

and i had to ask

why this would be

are we not all supposed to be

equal?

surely there should be cards

representing people of all races

but must they be sanctioned off?

i feel as though

this might be

defeating

the

purpose
