What is going on?
"I'm just a Twelve year old girl living in a small apartment with My four siblings and My Single mom!"
I told the people who were accusing me for
stealing something I have never ever heard of; Alétara.
The tall man grabbed My right arm so tight and shook me.
"We know you have it! We know you know where it is young lady!" Exclaimed the tall man Accusing me.
" I don't even have an Idea what a Ale...? Alétara is! Let me go." I cried.
"Stop it Cyrus, she is just a child. I know she is a part of this but I am sure she does not know where the Alétara is. Let go of her." A musculine man took me away from the accuser. He placed his hand on My head and then he kneeled in front of me. He looked at me straight in the eye and said, "Kara-" "what? How do you know my name?" I freaked out. "Shhh."
Again, he looked at me straight in the eye and said, "Kara, you will not remember any of these, but you will always remember me. Kara, you are walking home from school and you had a great day, now smile and walk away." ---
"Mom school was so tiring but I had so much fun!" I reported to my beautiful mom.
"That's good sweetie, now go up stairs and get changed. I will prepare dinner, please inform your brothers and sister."
"Sure mom." I smiled.
Woah there is a lot of sweat on My long sleeve.
I took off My sweaty clothes and put on My sleeveless top and my knee length shorts.
I looked at the mirror to check out My outfit, I look fine.
I look like a normal 12vie.
But there is something on My right arm, a big bruise.
"Where did this come from?" putting my left hand over my bruised right arm.
"ah" how stupid of me to touch it, it hurts more than it looks.
I headed towards My brothers' room,
"Aldous, Nate. Dinner."
My 14 year old brother Nate just looked at me and back at his computer. what a snob.
"Yep." Said Aldous My 16 year old brother
"Aldous can I have some of your batteries?" My twin sister Hana entered the room and asked.
"Hey twin, lets go have some dinner, mum's waiting."
"Yeah I'll just change the batteries of our wall clock." Hana replied.
"Woah what happened to that?"
"To what?" I asked.
"Your arm."
"Oh yeah, umm I dont know." I laughed.
"Seriously K? Tell me. What happened?" Hana gave me her Dracula stare.
"I really don't know Han." I nodded.
"Dinner time!" My mum Joe called.
My siblings and I raced to the kitchen and sat on our favourite spots on the dining table.
"Hmm yum, Tuna for dinner!" My brother Nate licked his lips while staring at our actual dinner; porridge.
"No Nate, It's Porridge." Laughed My older brother Shae.
"SHAE!" Hana excitedly screamed.
Hana and I ran towards Shae to give him a huge hug.
"We've missed you brother!" I said.
"Missed you too, and now lets have dinner."
"Aww Shae, My son, welcome back home." My mum hugged My brother Shae.
"Thanks Mum."
"Umm Son, I only cooked enough for your younger siblings... I didn't know you were coming home today." My mum sighed.
"Mum dont worry, I stopped by KFC." said Shae while rubbing mum's back.
"I got us a full bucket of chicken." Shae smiled.
"Yesss even better than Tuna! Well for me..." laughed my brother Nate while his fist is up the air.
Everybody started to eat and the food was so delicious, Mums porridge and the KFC chicken, yum yum!
I'm reaching out for the chicken wing, My favourite part of kfc chicken, but then My brother Shae called me.
"K, what happened to your right arm?"
Everyone stopped eating and stared at me and my arm.
weird weird weird!
"I don't know Shae, I just saw it on My arm earlier." I explained and took a bite from my chicken wing.
Mum and Shae looked at each other. "let me have a look at it." Says Shae.
He grabbed My arm then suddenly he catched his breath rapidly like he couldn't breathe and like he is running out of air!
" Shae?! SHAE?" I'm freaking out and so as my siblings. because Shae is holding me tighter and tighter every second, "It hurts! It hurts!" "Shae don't hold me too tight, you're hurting me!" I SCREAMED.
Everyone looks so freaked out.
Shae took his hands off of me.
"K. Stay here, don't go anywhere okay?" Shae sounded so nervous.
"What's going on Shae?"
Shae just looked at me and walked away from the table with My mother.
"Shaeee? What is going on?" I asked once again, but he is still walking away and acted like he didn't hear me ask him.
My mum and Shae walked in The stock room and talked, they both look Nervous, I cant hear what theyre saying so I moved seats to be closer to eavesdrop.
"We can't let her pay for what you did! For what you hid mom." Shae told My mum holding his head side by side.
Mum caught me looking at them so she shut the door of the stock room...
My brothers went up stairs and left their unfinished food on the plate. While my sister Hana is crying in front of the food on the table. "Hey twinny, don't cry it's okay they're just having a mother and son consulting thingy, okay?" I held Hana's hands and she smiled at me. "I know but are you okay? I can't believe Shae would hurt you." Hana sighed.
"Look sis, I'm fine. He probably didn't mean what he just did to me, maybe he was in so much shock just like us earlier.
We both know how much he loves us, he probably didn't mean what he did. Maybe he was just shocked cause I'm bruised."
I whispered.
Hana sobbed and told me "they've been in there for almost an hour, do you think mum's okay?" Hana cried.
"Of course she is Hana." I said.
"Kara, do you think If you told them where your bruise came from, this wouldn't have happened?" Hana sniffed and smiled.
"I don't know. I can't tell them where this came from anyway, because I have no idea where this purplish reddish brownish bruise came from. Sobsob!" I smiled.
Hana laughed at me.
This day is so... well... I guess it's safe to say It's weird.
I have a bruise, and I do not know where It came from, My brother came home unexpectedly and then he has hurt me.
Weird.
