Chapter Two

Chapter Two <3




Finally it was the last day of school. I sat in my last class just looking at the clock waiting for the day to be over. The last class went painfully slow but it eventually ended.


-Bell Ring-


Everybody ran out of there classrooms and went crazy. I'm so happy that i'm finally done with high school and get to move out.


I met up with Kylie at her car. We hopped in and turned the radio all the way up. We sang really loud but we didn't care.


We arrived at her house in less then ten minutes. She pulled her car into the driveway and I flung the car door open. There was a loud bang from closing the car door behind myself.  I ran inside her house with Kylie following a few feet behind me.


I grabbed my laptop from her desk  and  jumped onto her bed. I laid my back against the wall next to her bed. I opened my laptop quickly and started to look for houses in L.A near Kylie. Kylie quietly stepped into her bedroom and make her way to her bed.

Kylie: "So what should we do?"

There was a quiet pause as we began to think of things we could do.


Kat: "We could go to the mall and get some summer clothes!"


Kylie: "Yes. Definitely!"


I set my laptop gently down, grabbed my bag and ran down the hall. I'll look for houses later tonight.


Kylie and I jumped into her car all excited to go shopping for summer clothes and hit the road.


Shortly we found a parking spot and made are way into the mall, first we went to urban outfitters.


I was looking at the shirts with Kylie, when Connor (aka the kid I smashed into a couple of days ago with my skateboard.) walked into the store with five other guys around the same age. Except for one that looked thirteen.


I just froze. I didn't know what to do, hide or run. Kylie was in her own world so she didn't notice me freaking out. I don't even know why I was freaking out, he's just a guy that I meet and  have been thinking about for days now.


His eyes laid on me and we locked eyes for a spelt second. It  took a moment for him to figure out who I was but when he did  his eyes got big and he smiled. He walked over to me leaving the five boys on the other side of the store. I am definitely freaking out now.


Connor: "Hey Kat, You look cute."
He was right in front of me now. Be cool Kat.


Kat: "Hi Connor. Thanks you don't look to bad yourself." I said shyly and blushed a little. Dammit Katherine.


Connor: "Anyways I was wondering if you wanted to come over to our house tonight for a party?"


Kat: "Yeah sure. Um...Can my friend Kylie come?"


Connor: "Yeah."


Kat: "Okay. See you later!"


Connor: "See you tonight!"


A smile tugged at my lips. He turned around to find his friends staring at us. They left the store asking Connor many questions, not sure what about.


I jumped back to Kylie who was now at the dresses. I pulled her to me.


Kat: "Do you want to come to a party with me at this guys house"


Kylie: "Yes!! We need to party"


We checked out are new clothes then left the mall.


We drove back to Kylie's house to get ready.
The whole car ride there I was thinking about Connor and what was going to happen tonight. :)




(Connor's POV)




All the Our Second Life guys and I went to the mall to get clothes for a party we are throwing. We immediately went straight into Urban Outfitters. I was looking around to see what they had.


That's when I saw a really pretty girl looking at shirts in the corner of the store. She looked straight at me and are eyes locked. At first I didn't know who it was but then it came to me.


It was the girl that hit me with her skateboard a couple of days ago. I left the boys who were looking at pants in the other corner of the store and made my way to her all scared. Why am I scared?


Connor: "Hey Kat, You look cute." Be cool Connor.


Kat: "Hi Connor. Thanks you don't look to bad yourself." Her checks began to get red.

Connor: "Anyways I was wondering if you wanted to come over to are house tonight for a party?"


Kat: "Yeah sure. Um... Can my friend Kylie come?"


Connor: "Yeah."


Kat: "Ok. See you later!"


Connor: "See you tonight!"


She tried to hid her huge grin that was placed on her face. I turned around to find my friends staring at me and her. I walked over to them and they started asking me questions about her. I quickly walked out the store avoiding the questions, they followed.


Kian: "Who is that girl you were talking too?"


Connor: "She's a girl I met a couple of days ago. I invited her to the party."


Ricky: "She is hot!" I couldn't help but feel jealous. I just brushed off the comment.


We went to a couple other stores and then left. We all piled into Ricky's car and went to the house. I went into my room to get ready but spend an hour just daydreaming about Katherine.
I couldn't wait to see her tonight. :)
