Maura's POV
Fucking hell Jide is annoying. He is such a meat head. I'm surprised he's managed to make it this far in his life before someone drags him down. He has asked so many stupid questions that I can feel my IQ physically drop. I'd say the same for Vikk but his is plummeting considering he will remember every single thing he has said.
Maura: "Are you seriously this stupid. Guys remind me to never let him in the kitchen. Or the bath rooms. Or anywhere without an escort. Poor bastard might forget where he is going."
We all had rested after Non-Physical in the main room. Which essentially I'm just going to call relax central. The couch, If you could even call it that, Spanned a good two meters out from the fire pit. And ran along up to the brim. It was so comfortable though. And enough throw pillows to sink the titanic. The kitchen was a beautiful ceramic white. Though the Island and seats supplied were all a beautiful Dark wood. It actually made a really nice contrast to the white. Maybe that's what they were going for? The whole light and darkness thing. Looking around at each room. The house was semi Open living. The kitchen off to the side had no doors. The dining room was only separated by the others from the different floor used. While the lounge room here was stuck in the middle. To be honest. This place was huge. And so much better then the Elementals division.
Lachlan: "What time is it?"
We all pulled out our phone's to check it. I decided to go through my inbox. Finding a few messages from friends I had made while over there. Though I never really had much to do with them. I tended to keep to myself. I only made friends because I thought it would be interesting to learn about the other types of elements. I'd say it payed off in the long run. Most of the girls were sluts anyway. Just wanting to know if any of the new guys were hot. I tilted my head up and looked around at each of them. Mitch, Jerome and Rob were ok in their own way. Plus I had known them for a while anyway. Though the new guys. Harry was decent. Josh would probably have trouble finding someone seeing as no one really knows how to handle the whole Deaf thing. Even though it isn't an issue for him. Others will make it an issue. I could see Vikk and Rosie were cuddling next to each other. So I'd say he was already off limits. And as much of an ass hole and brain dead as he is. This fucking ass hole next to me. This Olajide person. He's hot as hell. At the risk of sounding racist. Never thought I'd say that about a black guy. But hey. Can't help who you find attractive.
Rob: "It's about 1:30. Alexai and Preston are both up stairs right?"
Ellie: "Who wants to take a bet that Preston is gay? Or Bisexual at the least?"
Harry: "We all kind of figured that out as soon as he stuck to Alex. Though when he came down and we told him Alexai announced he was gay. He didn't move. He was in shock."
Lachlan: "Doesn't take an Olajide to notice that."
JJ: "What?"
Maura: "They are making fun of you for being stupid."
JJ: "I'm not stupid. I just do enough to get by."
Vikk: "You have only ever done just enough to get by."
JJ: "Yeah because you always get bored and end up doing our assignments and shit for us."
Rosie: "How could someone get so bored they do other people's work for entertainment?"
Josh: "He use to do it all the time."
I looked over at Josh as his hand flew to his mouth. He had started to sound sluggish and slow. His words almost sounding like they were forced. Vikk got up in an instant and jumped over Simon and Ethan who had pulled up their feet for him to move. Before he plopped himself down next to Josh and pulled out a little bag from his pocket. It held a screw driver and a few wires.
