*Opal's POV*
Everyone bumped into each other trying to change. I hurried to my room and put on my clothes. And we all charged to the the 2008 Chevrolet Uplander passenger van. I sat in the back between Grace and Angie. Mika was on the drivers side while Jay was in the passenger seat. I then plugged in my iPhone and played "That Green Gentlemen" by Panic! At the Disco. We all sang along along and I've got to say we were good.
We all parked near a big building. We all put on our hats besides Angie cause she didn't have extra animal ears. She had wings. Then we all tucked our tails in our jeans (as for Angie tail feathers.) We walked inside and saw a huge arrange of people in costumes and attractions. "Wait! Before we do anything fun we hand in these forms for the competition." Mika said pointing at the form arrangers.
We all waited in line and saw a bunch of girls in line. I guess girls are opening their minds to video games. When we saw we were next up we ran up there and all handed in our forms. "Five girls signing up as a team! Good luck!" he said smiling and writing our names on the game board.
*After an hour of nerd attractions*
After getting a bunch of manga and costumes. I heard the speaker call the contestants. I ran towards the big stage with tubes lined up in a row on each side and a giant flat screen monitor hanging in the back. Wow. This is different. I saw Angie waving at me to come there and Jay stepping in the tube.
I ran over there to my other friends and looked at Jay. Her body was turning into pixels and then vanish. Next thing I know shes in the game with a sword and body armor. We all got excited and ran inside the tubes.
I was now in a robe and have a magical staff. Grace had kunais and ninja stuff. Mika was in a robe like me but it was white and a bible. Angie had cute jester clothes and guitar with a sharp blade on the side like an axe.
We all sat and waited for instructions. A voice that came from I think everywhere informed us on what to do. "Ok, here's how it goes. All your 'skills and stats' are based on what you can do in real life. If you have good physical health then you get a higher attack rate. If your fast speed/evasion rate, if your healthy health points, etc."
"Beat everyone to the flag and you win." the voice continued. Oh this is gonna be fun.
*After beating the other contestants*
Aww. It ended too quickly. I got out of the tube and saw five boys staring at us. "Hello?" Mika said not sure what to say. "Oh, yeah. Here are the winners of the One Direction secret contest!" he said his hand showing us. "What-" Jay was about to say when all the boys picked us up and threw us in the car and started driving away. A ton of girls were following us too.
*Jay's POV*
Opal and Graces eye colors started to change to ruby red. They were about to transform attack them! Angie held Grace back and Mika hit Opal in the back of the head which made her stop. After the long car drive they then drove into the garage of the mansion. Are they rich? NO, it doesn't matter. We need to get out.
They then led us to the living room. "So if they are bad people injure them and we'll go to the cops. If they are good people we'll see what happens." Opal said to us. She's only serious when it comes to us might be getting hurt. We all nodded and followed her lead. We all sat down at the bar counter on the stools.
The boys stood at the other side. There was a long silence. Opal intimidatingly stared at them, Angie played with her hair, Grace sat there off in her own world, I fiddled with my fingers, and Mika did those waiting tap thingies with her fingers.
"So, are you gonna tell us what just happened or what?" Opal said still intimidatingly staring.
"W-well there's this contest that Paul put us to. In short you have to live with us for 9 months. Almost everyone knows about it." the one with the shortest hair said. We all accepted the fact we won't go home anytime soon so we decided to take up the challange.
"Well, we don't get out often so who are you people?" Angie asked. All their jaws dropped. "We're One Direction! The worlds most famous boy band! And what rock have you been living under!?!" curly said. "A BIG ONE WITH SPARKLES AND UNICORN DUST!!!" Opal said loosening up. All the boys looked at her like she was cray-cray except the one with a striped shirt. He stood up and screamed "I NEED MAH CARROTS!" We all laughed and started to get to know each other.
We told the boys everything (besides the fact we're super heroes/hybrids/work for the government.) and spent the rest of the day like we knew each other.
