soraru's p.o.v.
Tumbling through the waves, I open my eyes.
I looked around as I slowly fall, observing the marine life around me.
No one will find me here. I won't be a nuisance to anyone anymore.
I looked down to see that there are two stone pathways going in the same direction. I chose to walk on one.
I slowly walked on one stone, but I couldn't hold my breath anymore.
I tried really hard to stop myself from releasing my breath, but I failed to.
As bubbles float up to the surface, I tried inhaling again.
I felt fine.
Eh? I thought, Am I dead?
I intentionally bit my lip, it hurt. Okay, I don't think so.
I continue following the path as it goes deeper and deeper.
As I slowly float along, I saw something struggling and flailing around.
No- wait, not something, but someone.
I go down the path as fast as I could to see a boy with white hair covering his mouth and, obviously, panicking.
"Oi." I called, reaching my hand out to him. "Ca-Calm down-"
He started yelling with his mouth closed, looking stupid.
I get irritated by the sight, jumped over to the other pathway, and harshly pulled him to the stone.
"Stand still." I told him, but he looks at me with teary red eyes. "Believe in me."
He stares at me a bit more, and then stands still as I slowly drag him onto the stone.
"You can breathe, you know?" I told him, tone blank.
He looks at me again, in which I nodded in a 'go on' way, and slowly releases his breath.
He shakily inhales, and his eyes widened.
"See, you're fine." I rolled my eyes at him.
"Tha-Thank you.." He slowly says, wondering what my name is.
"Soraru. Call me Soraru." I answer. "You, what's your name?"
"Ma-" He inhales deeply, probably trying to calm himself down. "I'm Mafumafu."
"Hm. It suits you." I say with a small chuckle.
Oi, don't get attached to people again!
"A-Anyways, why were you flailing around? Don't you see the platform?" I pointed at where the stones are.
He shook his head. "I was about to ask you why we were floating, but no, I don't see any platform."
I raised an eyebrow, "But it's just there.."
"Soraru-san," He suddenly said. "Y'know, your eyes are so blue.."
E-Eh? What is he saying.. Suddenly, it hit me.
Blue, Red. Water, Blood. I see.
I look towards a shark, "Mafu, look at that shark."
"Hm? Ooh!" He looked closer, and flinched a bit. "Soraru-san, that shark recently finished its food..."
I knew it.
"Mafu, hold my hand." I told him. "I can guide you through the platform."
"E-Eh..? Okay.." He slowly intertwines his hand with mine.
He's shaking.. That's cute..
"I'll guide you, while you tell me if there's any danger." I told him as he slowly nodded.
As we went deeper, I hear a voice.
"Wait, please understand,
It's nothing, so please don't laugh at my song.."
"Hmmm." I hum. "You have a beautiful voice, Mafu."
The albino squeaked a little. "Please don't laugh."
I stopped walking, "Why would I laugh?"
He avoided my gaze, "On the surface, people would laugh and tease me, saying I have a girly voice."
He let go of my hand for a bit. "Ooh, lookie lookie, it's a girl! Aww, you don't want to wear a dress? Then go suck your gay ass!- is what they say. "
I frowned at the thought, and grabbed his hand. "E-Eh? Soraru-san?"
"No one should treat you that way." I stared into his eyes. "If I saw someone doing that to you in front of me, I would straight up punch them."
He looked at me with teary eyes, "Soraru-san.."
"From now on," I intertwine our hands again. "I'll protect you."
He starts crying with a stupid looking smile on his face. "Okay!"
