The Twin

1. Stay alive

  Kellina had been locked up ever since she can remember, literally.

People on the Ark are punished for even the smallest crimes. If they are over 18 they get floated imidietly, however if they are minors they get locked up till they are 18 and then they are judged by the council, who decide if they are going to be pardoned of their crimes or if they are going to get floated.

Kellina's crime was being born, as ridicilous as it sounds. Her parents; Aby and Jake Griffin, had twins 17 years ago. They named them Clark and Kellina.
Considering Clark was the older twin they got to keep her and had to give up Kellina, who was younger only by a cuple of minutes.
She was rised by a very kind woman, by the name of Mrs. Blake. She was like a mother to her till she was 14, and then she just dissapeard.
Kellina always wonderd what happend to her.
But there was something good in her life after all. She would be turning 18 soon and she was okay with geting floated. She knew that she had no chanse of being pardoned and she was okay with that, she was sick of tat grey room she has been forced to live in for the past 17 years.


''Prisoner K01 stand up and put your hands above your head.'' A guards voice woke Kellina up and she obeyed.
She felt her hands being pulled down and in to handcuffs in front of her gently let her know it was one of the guards she knew, which didn't help her identify him, since she knew and got along with most of them.
''It's going to be okay, Kellina, relax.'' The guard whisperd to her, careful so the guy she reconised as Kane, a part of the council doesn't see or hear them.
Kellina reconised the guards voice imidietly. ''Jason, what's happening? Where are you taking me?''
''A 100 of you are bing brought to a drop ship.'' He said back.
''Guard! What's taking so long?'' Kane shouted from the enterance to the room.
''Yes sir, sorry she is resisting.'' Jason apologised.
''Why?'' Kellina whisperd pretending to be resisting him.
''I don't know.'' He anwserd and pulled me out the door.
''Aby! Here's the last one.'' Kare waved over a lady that looked like a doctor. Kellina didn't reconise her, but she seemed fimilar.
''Aby? Griffin?'' She asked as the lady came to her and put a wrist band on her.
''Yes?'' The lady looked at her cluless that she was her daughter.
''You don't know me, do you?'' Kellina asked, dissapointed.
''Sorry, Should I?'' The doctor asked.
''Kellina, I have to get you to the drop ship.'' Jason said gently grabing her hand.
''Kellina?'' The doctor said just before she and the guardwent off to the drop ship.
''It was nice to see you again, mum.'' Kellina said with a kind smile and walked away with Jason.
That left Aby shocked and tears falling from her face, but she quickly wiped them away and went to the control room to watch them take off.

''You are so brave.'' Jason said squesing her hand, trying to confort her.
''It's not her fault.'' She smiled more to herself than to him.
''Good luck.'' Jason said as we got in to the drop ship.
Kellina giggeld a thank you and sat down in a empty chair between a girl with long brown hair that reminded her of Mrs. Blake and a guy with a shoulder legith hair.
''I will miss you. And I will join you as soon as possible. I promisse.'' He said as he took off the handcuffs and helped me buckle in to my seat. ''I love you, Kellina.'' He said and kissed her, suprising her.
He has never done this, this was her first kiss. She had no idea he liked her and she was so surprised she wraped her arms around his neck and kissed him back instinctively.
''Stay alive.'' He said after he pulled away, leaving her breathless.
''Guard! Come out or you'll be floated.'' Someone yelled at Jason from outside the drop ship.
''Well that sounds almost better than living widouth you.'' Jason said kissing her again quicklly before runing out.

''Boyfriend?'' The girl next to her asked. ''He's pretty hot, good job.'' She added as they both looked at Jason. She was right, Jason is hot. He is also older than Kellina, he was 28. His short brown wavy hair fellon his forehead in just the right way to make him look young jet charming and his blue eyes sparkled like the sea Kellina saw on Earth trough her cell window. And not to mention his toned body and tall frame, that complimented his broad shoulders.
''No, that never happend beore right now.'' Kellina said when she got her breath back.
''hmm, well it looked like he wanted it to happen for a very long time. I'm Octavia Blake, by the way.'' The girl next to her smiled and offerd Kellina her hand.
''Blake?'' Kellina was stuned, could this girl be related to Mrs. Blake?
''Yes?''
And then it hit her. Mrs. Blake told her about how she had a illlegal daughter that she always called O and a son named Bell.
''Do you have a brother? Bell?'' Kellina asked.
''Yes. How do you know about Bellamy?'' Octavia asked surprised.
''Your mum told me about you two, I'm Kellina.'' She took her hand. ''Kellina Griffin.''
''Oh, you're the girl she looked after.'' Octavia smiled. ''I heard so many stories about you. Do you still sing?''
Kellina laughed. ''I heard a lot about you as well. And yes, I do, what else am i suppoust to do? Just sit in a grey room and pull out my hair out boredom.''
They both laughed, but were cut off by the chanchlers voice coming trough the speakers. ''Taking off will take place in ten seconds.''
''Here goes nothing.'' Kellina smiled and squized Octavias hand.
''On to a new adventure.'' Octavia agreed and they both smiled as the countdown started.
