|Avery's pov|

The boys have become great friends to Hayden and I. We may have only been here for a few days but it's good to have some people that we know and can go to if we ever need any help with anything.

I guess last night they just missed us too much. I don't blame them ;).
We stayed up until the early morning, gossiping about other internet famous people, talking about our ambitions in life and eating Chinese food.

I tip toed into the kitchen, looking back every few seconds to see if anyone had moved. They were all hidden beneath the plain white duvet we'd dragged from the double bedroom last night when the boys decided to stay with us.

At some point in the night Grayson ended up playing the role of the big spoon, his arm draped over my waist. It's not weird or anything though. Boy and girl best friends do that all the time. Surely it's no different with a boy I met less than a week ago that I'm very attracted to.

I crept to the fridge, taking a few bites of an apple before throwing at away, losing my appetite for no reason at all. "Stay hydrated kids." I whisper-yelled to myself, sticking one hand in the air and posing like some kind of cheesy children's company mascot.

"Nice moves sparkles." I jumped at the voice, even though it was only a whisper.
"Don't do that!" I shrieked, making sure I was quiet enough that I wouldn't wake up the other two. I glanced over, seeing them move but then Ethan's arm rested over Hayden, he then sighed in content. That was seriously some cute stuff.

"Why're you up? You literally went to sleep two hours ago, it's six." I looked at the clock mounted on the wall of the kitchen.
"I could ask you the same thing." He raised a very attractive eyebrow at me, crossing his arms, being jokingly patronising.

"I'm an early riser," I shrugged "you?"
"I lost my little spoon." He winked, walking towards the fridge. Whilst his back was momentarily facing me I took a moment, not only to freak out about what he'd said and how freaking hot he is when he winks, but to appreciate his back. Woah, I sound flipping weird right now. But honestly, as far as good looking backs go.. Grayson Dolan's back appreciation day guys.

"I'm bored." I groaned, sitting on the island countertop.
"Same. We should all do something today." He turned back around, his eyes finding mine almost instantaneously.
"Where should we go to Mr. Tour guide?" I smirked, laughing slightly when he took a moment to think about it seriously.
"Well first we need to go to target to get you some food and stuff you need. Then maybe we could take a night drive to Venice beach. Ethan and I used to take trips there nearly every night when we moved over here." He seemed as though he'd gone into some sort of daze, thinking about the times he and Ethan had spent together.

"That sounds really fun. I'm gonna get changed." I gave him one last smile before turning around and starting to make my way towards my bedroom.
"When you're dressed come to my apartment. We can hang out until they wake up." I heard before the front door shut.

Alone in an apartment with Grayson Dolan? Sounds like a plan.
Don't get me wrong, I am not a slut, I'm a hormonal teenage girl, stop with the judgment.

I was quick to put one my many bikini's I'd bought for this trip on, throwing on a pair of light blue high waisted boyfriend Jean shorts (I need a pair fr😍😍) and pulled on my plain grey TopShop sweater.
Now, makeup. And yes, I do now realise I'd been wearing no makeup in front of them.

I decided on only wearing mascara, picking out a good ol' waterproof one and applying it to my long lashes. Letting my hair down, I placed my black Coachella H&M sunglasses on my head. I wish I went, think of how fun it must've been.

Stuffing a towel into a beach bag, along with my camera, I slid on my sandals and made my way out the door, trying to remember the way to the twins' apartment.

"Come in." Grayson called when I'd knocked.
(A/N I'm pissed bc I had over 1400 words written and it fucking deleted it. I'm actually really pissed off. It was relatively good as well 😭)
"Hey!" I smiled cheerfully, putting my bag down on the breakfast bar.
"I figured we could just wait here till they got ready. Ethan can wait with Hayden and it won't take him long to get ready when they come here." He said, scratching his arm awkwardly. However, I am not an awkward person. I thrive in awkward situations.

"What's England like? Ethan and I are going on tour and that's one that we're pretty excited for." He spoke after a few moments of awkward coughing and looking at the wall in front of me as if it was the most interesting thing I'd laid eyes on in my entire seventeen years of existence.
"It's alright. Pretty cold. The weather is nearly as bipolar as the people, but other than that." I laughed gently, moving a few strands of hair away from my face.
"What do you mean by that?" He sat himself back on the sofa, looking genuinely focused on every word I spoke.
"I mean here, in La everyone is so happy and cheerful. From what I've seen at least. In England you bump into someone on the street and they push past without a second glance, probably swearing at you not so discretely 'under their breath'. Here evened just so much... I don't know, nicer." I laughed once more, pushing my glasses down into my face when I heard a knock on the door. I'm not really sure why I did, but hey ho.

"Grayson, let us in. I'm in my boxers." Hayden's laugh came from the other side of the door. We could hear Ethan's muffled voice groaning and telling Hayden to stop laughing at his lack of clothes.
I looked at Grayson, giving him an amused look before going to let in the damsel in distress.
"Thanks avy [av-ie]." He yelled, running into his bedroom with his hands over the front of his underwear.
