Chapter 23: Lou

HARRY'S POV

"SO WHO'S READY TO GO TO PROM!?!?" Louis yells the night before the girls are leaving.

"Haz c'mere a sec mate?" Liam asks me from the kitchen.

"What's up lad?" I ask him.

"You should bring Tori to prom" he tells me.

"What? No, I can't"

"Mate, it's the right thing to do and you know it."

"Liam I can't, she already has a date and I don't want to ruin it for everyone. Niall will be there and than ill be there, the paps will find out in a second and everyone's night will be rubbish."

"Harry, you know it really doesn't matter about anyone else's night. This is for Tori, it's her PROM Harry. Do you understand how big that is for her? Just do me a fav-"

"I kissed her Liam, when I really didn't want or mean to" I cut him off.

"Well, maybe there was just a little want there Haz. Maybe you do still love her." Is what he tells me.

I thought long and hard before I answered him,

"I do still love her. I just refuse to get my heart broken again" and I walked out of the room, passing Tori who was coming down the stairs looking glum. We made eye contact for about 3 seconds before she refused to break it and I had to.

I am on my way to my room when Laney comes out and asks,

"Oh hey Harry, can you do me a favor tomorrow for me please?"

"Sure, anything love." I tell her.

"Can you give me Lou's number so I can ask her if she's still planning on coming with Niall and I on the flight tomorrow morning to Boston?" She asks bringing out her phone.

"Yeah, my phones in the room lemme just go get it." I tell Laney.

"Thank you Haz."

"Yeah no problem" I say walking to my room.

After we get to my room and I'm unlocking my phone Laney speaks and says,

"So. You kissed her yesterday huh?" And she says it rather sternly.

I freeze and look up at her and she has a pissed off face on.

"Lanes, it's a long story. We got into an argument and I was leaning up against the counter and she moved closer than I moved closer and it happened. I promise, that's all it was, you can ask her." I tell her.

"All in a matter of what, 10 minutes?" She says.

"Yeah, when you decided it would be a good idea to leave us alone. Remember?" I tell her getting a little more protective.

"Because I wanted you both to work things out not hookup!!" She fires back.

"Laney we didn't hookup, it was a kiss!! A simple kiss that didn't mean anything! I love her yes, but I don't trust her and I can never be with her again because I don't want my heart broken again! It was a kiss that will never happen again, ever. So get over it and now do you want Lou's number or not?"

I give Laney Lou's number and she walks out of the room going to the left, probably going to hers. I walk out of my room and go to the right, planning on going back downstairs.

And what do I see?

Tori Kilmer sitting against the wall outside of my room.
