Weeks pasted and nothing really changed. My dad was angry because the investigation was going absolutely no where.  And in addition he was worried about me, my safety mostly. Ever since I told him about the person at the party. I'm a bit paranoid as well, but I'm calming down I guess.

Today was Monday and three hours of school already slowly dragged by.

I smiled as third period ended, and on to fourth period me and Rebbecah went. Fourth period was history, Rebbecah and I hated the subject.

History was horrible, so were my grades in that class. I never can remember the content and I always get lost.

Plus Chris is in that class, so I find it hard to pay attention when he's practically burning holes into back with his hateful glares.

Atleast, on the up side, Trevor is also in that class. He and I sit a bit away from eachother. His table is next to mine though so kinda we're close in distance.

Rebbecah sits across the room on the other side. Far away from me, sadly.

I sat down and talked to Trevor and Rebbecah till the bell rang, but everyone kept talking till Mrs Katirina walked in.

"Okay class, quiet down and do your beginning task on the board please." Mrs Katirina, The teacher, told us.

I looked at the board that said, "start thinking about ideas for a project you are going to do with a partner about the Civil War."

"Oh and before you ask I'll be picking partners." She said earning a groan from the class.

Mrs Katirina started to go down the list naming off partners, "Trevor, and Rebbecah, Olivia and Maddison, Alex and Amanda-" she passed as the door opened.

Everyone looked to the door to see, non other then, Chris. He was late.

Mrs Katirina cleared her throat and looked at Chris, "Mr Dennis, do you have a pass or a reason you are late?"

Chris glared at her and replied, "I fucking hate this class, and I don't need a pass." He said smugly and cockily.

Mrs Katirina looked at him wide eyed.

The teacher hated him, he always back talked her. Plus he was always an ass to everyone.

"Sit down, Chris." She said rolling her eyes and giving him a harsh glare. Chris smirked and looked at her rolling his eyes. But he sat down anyways.

"Anyways, on with the partners. Sierra and John. Jace and Joey, Chloe and Alexis, Chris and Evaline..." My head snapped up.

"No. Pair me with someone else. I can't work with her." Chris snapped at the teacher. I rolled my eyes. What an ass, he barely knows me.

"The feeling is mutual, asswipe." I said back returning his glare. The teacher looked at us and cleared her throat.

"I guess you'll both have to deal with it." Mrs Katirina said looking at us as we glared at another. She sighed, "oh and I'm only going to give you like 10 minutes every day to work on it in class so make sure you can meet up with your partner to finish on your own time."

There is no way in hell Im working with an asshole like him. He told me to stay away and was a complete jerk for no reason.

Finally the bell rang, I happily grabbed my stuff and practically ran out of class. Trevor and Rebbecah followed me, and we went to free period.

"I can't believe you have to work with him, he was being such an ass in class today." Rebbecah said and i nodded and frowned.

"I can't believe she won't let me change partners or anything." I sighed.

Soon, free period was over and we went to lunch. At lunch we sat at our usual table with Michael and Amanda.

As usual I felt the glares, but without turning around I already knew who it was.

Chris.

"I'm done." I said and got up from my seat, my blood boiling. I walked over to him.

He glared at me once I was infront of him,  "listen up asshole. I don't know why you don't like me, but get over it and stop being such a dick!" I said out of anger.

Chris got up and looked down at me with a glare.

The whole cafeteria fell into dead silence.

He towered over me with his tall, muscular figure and glared down at me with such dark eyes. He leaned in and his lips were close to my ear. "I'd be very careful before you end up like your friends. " He whispered in my ear.

Something happened in that moment. Time froze as his tone and voice sounded horribly familiar.

He moved away from me and started walking towards the door. I stood there for a second not believing my own ears.

I ran towards the door and followed him as he walked out of it. "W-Wait!" I called after him.
But he didn't stop, he kept walking.

I ran to catch up with him, I looked at him. "W-what, I-I what you how?"
He doesn't say anything. he just kept walking like nothing ever happened.

I grabbed his arm and glared at him, "how did you know about that, The murders from my school?" I asked. No one else from Carter brought it up. How did he know?

Did anyone else at Carter know? Did Trevor know? Who did? A thousand questions ran through my mind.

Chris smirked at me and looked down at me, "I know everything princess." He said and shook his head at me. My mind was cloudy, I couldn't think straight.

"We have to work on this project together so you have to come over for the stupid project. Because I'm not failing for an idiotic asshole such as you." I said and crossed my arms.

"I'd rather fail then have to spend time with you." He spat and removed his arm from my grip which was still on his arm. But not anymore.

"Well to bad, please come over tomorrow around like 7:00 and we can work on the project. You can stay for dinner even." I said not willing to fail for him.

He shook his head, "no thanks. Id rather not." Chris said glaring at me.

"Please I'll do something for you please just do this for me. And maybe you'll hate me less." God, was I really this desperate? I hated myself for saying that after I said it.

"Fine." He said and walked away, I suddenly wasn't excited tomorrow.
