That One Night (Vampire Knight FanFic)

Five ~ Kidnapped

It has been a month and a half since I met Aido. We still meet every night in secret, we meet in the same spot like always by the tree. Just like the first time we met. It was that one night that changed my whole life and my opinion on vampires.

I guess not all vampires are that bad after all. I mean I have only met Aido and even though he seems scary he is really nice and he acts completely different around me.

"Ayane!"

Turning around I see Akira giving me his usual big smile, hands buried into his jeans pockets, he is wearing a blue polo shirt and trainers. Today is Saturday and like every Saturday, we go to town together.

Today I am wearing a pale yellow coloured dress with a white cardigan. My hair is down today and slightly curled, on my feet is a pair of white flat shoes. In my hands I hold a yellow handbag.

"You ready?" He asks me

I smile and nod "Yep, let's go"

We start walking together side by side. Walking through the town it is actually quite busy. Adults are everywhere you look, rushing off to weekend end work, trying to buy everything in the sales. Children are running around freely.

I see a kid fall over as he is chasing after his mates. I start to walk over when Akira makes his way over first. Akira picks are the boy and pats his head before turning over to me, I jog lightly over as we continue you walk.

As we walk away from the kids I hear them mumbling about Akira, in a very respectful way as well, it brings a happy smile to my face.

"Oi, Oi, why you smiling?" Akira asks leaning slightly towards me hands still buried in his pockets.

"Oh nothing" I say and then pinch his check, hard "Just how kind you are"

"I'm always kind" He says and grabs my hand pinching his cheek and pulling it away.

I roll my eyes.

"Don't do that" He squeezes my hand tightly and tugs at my arm "C'mon then, we need to hurry up, I need to do studying"

"Well you didn't have to come along with me" I say as we walk normally now but Akira is still holding onto my hand. I tug at his sleeve "You can let go of my hand now". He looks down at our hands and blushes darkly and drops my hand and says "Sorry!

"It's fine" I say and watch him cover his face with his hands.



~FLASH BACK~

"I'm sorry that we scare you and I'm truly sorry about your dad. But there is no need to be scared, I'll defiantly protect you from now on. And I don't think Akira will let anyone hurt you" Aido said to me.

Butterflies filled my stomach. He is going to protect me! "I think Akira thinks I'm burden sometimes. But I already know he'll protect me because he is my best friend"

"You know he likes you right?" Aido asked

I blinked "What"


~END OF FLASH BACK~


I wonder if Akira really does like me... Looking over to him I see he keeps glancing at me 24/7.

I poke him "Stop looking at me, I'm not going to vanish!"

"I know that!" He demands.



Akira carries the bag of stuff he brought from the cheap market. I only brought a new notebook and that fitted in my bag perfectly.

Since my feet are aching slightly I fall slightly behind, Akira tells me to hurry up and refuses to wait for me.

Sighing I keep at my own paste making sure Akira doesn't disappear from my sight.

Feeling a cold breeze on the back on my neck I stop and turn around seeing nothing there, raising an eyebrow I start to walk again facing Akira's back.

A sudden freezing cold hand wraps around my wrist while another wraps around my mouth. My screams muffle against the hand. In the hand on my mouth is a cloth, then I realise this sudden smell is...! I plunge into darkness and collapse against the person.




Waking up I find myself sitting down on a cold floor my wrists chained above me on the wall. Drops of water fall from the ceiling, it makes a small puddle beside me. I realise I don't have my handbag with me.

Looking around I see my bag beside the door where a person stands with dark black hair and red eyes. Some bodyguard?

Two other people enter the room, they have red eyes as well but one has spiky brown hair while the other has blonde.

The brown haired guy walks over to me and grips hold of my chin firmly and makes it so I look straight in his eyes.

"Do you know Aido Hanabusa?" He asks me

Why do they want to know? I move my chin away from his hands "I not saying anything"

His hand reaches for me again this time it moves towards my neck and there is no way out of this one.

He doesn't squeeze as hard as he did with my chin but it still hurt.

"TELL ME, DO YOU KNOW WHO AIDO HANABUSA IS?!" He yells as my making me jump.

"I-I know" I answer

"Are you the girl called Ayane?" He asks

"I am"

"Awesome, you are our hostage" He says to me "We have business with Hanabusa, he owes money"

"how much?" I ask

"Why do you care human?" The blonde asks

I knew they weren't human by there eyes, they must be some sort of vampires "I could pay for it" I say

"What? ¥80,000?" The brown asks

I gulp, he owes that much.

"What did he do?" I ask

"He broke a few things of mine and I want the money for it all, he also suck the blood out of my sister who was a human like you, if Aido doesn't hurry up soon, all your blood will be drained out of you. All three of us are dying for a drink" the brown licks his lips his fangs slightly showing.

I know they can see the fear in my eyes because they are all laughing, like evil lunatics.

I hope Aido shows quickly!
