Charles makes a left turn on his bike towards Heart filled cafe. Even thought I had ridden on his bike hundreds of times, I still gripped my hands around his waste a little tighter.

When we pulled into the parking lot, Charles turned to look at me, stared me in the eyes, then kissed me. Soft right on the lips. I kissed him back. Time disappeared when we kissed, when we are together, when we are one.

Much to my dismay the kiss ends. Charles slipped his hand in mine and leads me to the cafe door. We sit down in a booth right near the band. Before we know it all of our friends start arriving. First is Kathy.

Kathy is my best friend in the entire world. She always knows what is going on and when I am feeling sad. I wave her over and she slides into the booth right beside me.

"Hey love birds," Kathy mocks.

"Hi," I said rolling my eyes.

Once the band started playing, I looked around at my friends, Lucy, Jackie, Samantha, and Kathy. Then I look at my hand in my boyfriend's hand. At that moment I thought nothing could separate all of us. Not even time.

Time is an interesting word. Time is something we use in every day life. It is something we can't live without. We take time for granted. We underestimate time.
