"Lexi!" Brooke yelled.

I turned around from talking to Nathan and smiled at her, "hey Brooke." I greeted before taking a sip of my hot chocolate.

Brooke looked at Nathan before looking back at me, "I haven't seen you all week! So, you coming to the party tonight?" Brooke asked raising an eyebrow.

I bit my lip while Nathan stood there, shuffling awkwardly, "I'll see you in class, Lexi. Brooke." Nathan nodded in acknowledgement at Brooke who returned it and hurried off to History.

Brooke and I watched him go before Brooke looked back at me with a grin, "so, are you two a thing or what? It's been going around campus that you two are." Brooke said.

I rolled my eyes, "no we're not. Just... Friends. Well we are trying to be nice to each other at least, nothing more," I said.

Brooke smirked slightly, "right. Course not," she said, unconvinced, "just be careful, ok? I don't want you getting hurt. But the party tonight, you coming?" She asked.

I thought about what she has said before looking at my converse, I doubt I would be the one getting hurt. It would be Nathan. A flood of guilt washed over me before I shook it off.

"Erm, yeah, I guess. You guys have corrupted me," I mocked.

Brooke laughed, "oh the horror!" She teased, "so, how is it staying with Nathan this whole week? Apparently both his parents are you know, not in the picture." Brooke said.

I shook my head and looked around. I saw Nathan hovering at a picnic table nearby. When he saw me looking at him, he winked before looking away. I blushed slightly then looked back at Brooke, "oh his mom is perfectly cool, I guess, but his dad is out of the picture." I answered.

Brooke nodded. She turned around and looked at Nathan before looking back at me, "so nothing has happened between you and him? No kiss? No touchy feely of any kind?" Brooke asked.

Well there was Monday, but she didn't need to know that. And I wouldn't even call it a kiss.

"Nope. None of that. I would tell you," I said smiling.

She nodded her head before the bell rang, "hey, just remember what I said. Be careful. I'll see you at the party, ok?" Brooke asked.

I nodded my head, "I will and ok," I replied before she walked off to Art. I threw my empty cup in the bin and walked over to Nathan.

"What was that about?" He demanded as soon as I reached him.

I rolled my eyes, "girl talk. You don't need to know, ok?" I said.

He frowned and opened his mouth to say something but I shot him a warning glare before the words came out of his mouth. The glare silenced him. Maybe Jess is right, maybe he does care even a little about me.

"Fine. So are you going to the party or not?" He snapped harshly.

I ignored his harsh tone and nodded my head, "yep. You are driving." I said cheekily as we entered history.

He glared at me before walking over to his seat. I smiled to myself before going and sitting in my seat between him and Ben.

Ben gave a grin, "morning Happy. Are you coming to the party tonight?" Ben asked casually.

I nodded my head, "yeah. Are the normal lot going?" I asked as the professor came in and started the lecture.

Ben nodded his head, "yeah, course! I thought you weren't into all this party stuff?" Ben raised an eyebrow.

I shrugged and quickly scribbled down some notes, "I'm not. But I don't want to be the boring loner girl," I mumbled.

"Well you are pretty amazing for a boring loner girl," Ben smirked.

I blushed and I looked down. I heard a pencil snap nearby and I looked up to see Nathan gripping a broken pencil.

I frowned a little as Nathan glared at the table, "you ok?" I whispered so Ben couldn't hear as he wrote down notes.

Nathan looked at me with his cold eyes before they softened a big, "yes." He muttered.

I sighed before giving him a new pencil from my pencil case, to his shock, and finished writing down the notes that I would need for the assignment.

"Don't worry about me going to your house after classes. I'll go to the dorm and get changed." I mumbled to Nathan quietly.

He nodded his head, "fine." He said and then he went back to glaring at the paper in front of him. What was his problem this time?

After both my classes had finished, I headed towards the dorm block. I went straight up to my dorm and saw Brooke in a towel going through her clothes.

She grinned when I entered, "hey Lexi! Long time no see," she teased.

I rolled my eyes, "yeah, yeah." I said before going over to my closet.

I picked out a pair of jeans and a new t-shirt and laid them down on the bed with a new pair of underwear, "I'm getting a shower." I said.

Brooke nodded her head before getting an outfit. I grabbed my towels and shower necessities before leaving the dorm room and heading to the shower. The shower rooms were empty when I entered. I put my shower bag on the side before walking over to a shower when I heard the door open again. In walked Nathan, he looked at me before walking over and giving a smirk.

"Brooke said you would be here," Nathan said and moved a strand of my hair away from my face.

I frowned slightly, "erm, why are you here?" I asked in confusion mixed with a hint of embarassment.

He shrugged, "I missed you," he teased.

I rolled my eyes before giving a small smile, "it's been two hours Nath," I joked.

He shrugged off his jacket before tong off his t-shirt, "what are you doing?" I asked him, crossing my arms over my chest.

He winked, "showering with you," he answered casually, as if it were the most normal thing in the world.

I shook my head, "oh no. I'm good thanks. How about you shower at your house and I shower here on my own." I said, moving back as he walked towards me.

He took my hands and pulled me into his bare chest, "that could work but I honestly prefer showering with company," he winked.

I rolled my eyes at him and he leaned forward slightly, "Nathan, stop it," I mumbled.

He carried on leaning forward before kissing my forehead, "why?" He asked quietly.

"Because... This is me and this is you. We aren't right for each other," I mumbled as I traced his tattoo. What was I saying? I didn't like Nathan, end of.

He kissed my ear, when his lip ring touched my ear I shivered slightly, "not being right for each other doesn't mean we have to listen to that crap, who cares?" He asked and lifted my chin up.

I took a shaky breath before he pressed his lips against mine. I gasped slightly at the contact of his slightly chapped lips and cold lip ring before wrapping my arms around his neck slowly. Nathan placed his hands on my waist before pulling away, "jump," he murmured deeply. I jumped slightly and he lifted me around his waist. I wrapped my legs around his waist as he pressed my back into the wall. We moved into one of the showers and I got off him but still kept my arms around his neck. Nathan moved his lips to my neck and placed his arms beside me before accidentally turning the shower on and we both got wet.

I squealed and Nathan chuckled as the water dropped from his face.

"Well that was interesting," he smirked.

I nodded my head breathlessly, "hmm," I hummed and wiped my face from the water which was pointless as my face became wet again in mere seconds.

Nathan placed his hands low on my hips before leaning forward and kissed my jaw. He leaned his forehead against mine, "what now?" I whispered as he looked at me with a smirk.

"What do you mean?" He murmured as the warm water came down.

"Like... Us?" I said blushing.

He shrugged and turned the shower off, "just go with whatever. See how it turns out. I don't like titles because they're pointless," Nathan mumbled before kissing my forehead again.

I looked down at floor, "I need to shower," I said.

Nathan chuckled and started lifting my t-shirt off, he pulled it off. I squealed before pushing him out the shower and quickly closed the curtain, embarassment filling me up.

"Hey!" Nathan laughed.

I blushed again and folded my arms over my chest, I felt tears sting my eyes. Why did he have to do that? He saw my stomach and how it's not all toned like Ally's. Ally would love it when Nathan told her.

"Lexi?" Nathan's voice echoed against the tiles.

I looked down at the floor as a traitor tear fell down my cheek, "Lexi?" Nathan asked again.

I wiped my tear before the curtain opened, "get out!" I shouted.

Nathan frowned before walking in and closed the curtain before him, "are you crying?" He asked quietly.

I shook my head, "just go away," I muttered covering myself again before turning my back to him. Why couldn't he just listen for once?

Nathan walked up behind me and placed his hands on my waist before leaning his head against my shoulder, "don't be embarrassed," Nathan said.

I shook my head, "stop it," I whispered.

"No. Listen to me. You have no reason to be embarrassed, ok?" Nathan said softly and kissed my shoulder.

I said nothing and tightened my grip around myself, "I'll leave you to shower. I promise I won't come in," he said cheekily.

I smiled a little, "thanks," I mumbled.

Nathan turned me around before kissing my lips softly, I felt butterflies as soon as his lips touched mine. Soon, he pulled away, gave me a wink and left. I felt a big smile fill my face before I shook my head and took off my clothes. I threw them out of the shower before turning the shower on. I washed my hair and body before shaving under my arms and my legs before turning the shower off. I reached out for the towel when someone handed it to me. I wrapped the towel around my body and dried off before getting out and seeing Nathan. He was still shirtless and was on his phone before he looked up and winked.

"Hey gorgeous," he teased before chewing on his lip ring.

I blushed again before going off to he sink and brushed my teeth. I grabbed another towel and dried my hair leaving it damp before brushing through it. I wiped off at excess water off my face before moisturising then looked at Nathan.

He walked up to me and stood behind me placing his hands on my waist, "you look happy," he joked.

I rolled my eyes and shrugged him off before picking up my clothes and wash bag, "I'll meet you at the party," I said.

Nathan frowned, "why are you pissed?" He snapped.

I groaned, "I'm not! I'm just saying I'll see you at the party!" I snapped in sudden annoyance.

He glared at me, "we have some heated make-out session then you get all upset about me taking your t-shirt and now you're pissed? Sorry babe but it's not like I haven't seen anything before. You are just another girl in a long line of them that I have mucked about with," Nathan shouted and grabbed his t-shirt and slipped it on.

I looked at him and felt tears sting my eyes. I opened my mouth to say something before deciding not to, I shook my head before quickly walking pass him.

"Lexi..." Nathan groaned. I ignored him and quickly walked back to my dorm room where I slammed the door shut.

"Woah, what's up with you?" Brooke asked as she finished her make-up.

I shook my head before tears fell down my cheeks, Brooke stood up and came over to me, "hey, what's up?" Brooke asked with much more concern in her voice.

I bit my lip, "Nathan... Nathan and I kind of kissed and then we argued and I..." I whimpered.

Brooke sighed and hugged me, "it's gonna be alright, I promise. Nathan is just a dick, ok? Now let's get you all pretty for the party. Sorry, but I'm not letting you wear jeans." Brooke teased.

I sniffled and wiped my eyes before laughing, "ok then," I said before Brooke went over to her closet and got out a black dress.

I closed the curtains before getting on my underwear and then Brooke handed me the short dress, I gave her a look but she grinned, "come on, please? Nathan will be so jealous of all the guys looking at you!" Brooke said.

I sighed before nodding my head slowly and got into the dress. Brooke did up the zip at the back and I had to breathe in, considering I'm not as small as her. The dress reached mid-thigh. I tried pulling it down but it wouldn't budge.

"Leave it, you look hot. Right hair first, lets dry it," Brooke said and sat me down in a seat.

I smiled at her as she plugged in the hair dryer and began to dry my wavy hair so it wasn't as damp anymore. Once she had dried and brushed through it, she plugged in the straighteners and began to straighten my hair, "thanks for this," I said.

"No problem. You deserve this little make-over, Nathan will be practically by your feet when he sees you," Brooke joked, "so what did you argue about anyway?"

"He thought I was pissed at him because he kind of took my top off, and I got really self conscious. He's been with so many pretty girls that are all really slim and I don't know if I can wear this dress. It's way too showy and Nathan will laugh," I rambled.

Brooke laughed at me, "hey! Trust me on this, you are the prettiest girl that he's been with alright? You need to stop putting yourself down and you aren't changing out of this dress, it suits you! So you and him kissed? Don't be embarrassed! Nathan may be a dick but he's actually kind of nice when he wants to be." Brooke said.

I sighed, "I guess. But he said I'm just another girl in a long line that he's mucked about with."

"Well he shouldn't of said that, but unfortunately, it's the truth. And the truth hurts, that's whymno one says it. Like I said, don't fall for him. You can muck about but don't fall in love because trust me, you will end up hurt and it won't be pretty for either of you," she said although it seemed like she was warning me of something else. Something I didn't know about.

When Brooke finished straightening my hair, she brushed it again before spraying it. She then began applying make-up. God, I hate make-up. I don't get why people cover up. Yeah, I've had my fair share of spots, they are terrible, but people shouldn't hide them! Everyone gets them. I'm one of those girls that is self conscious of their body, not their face.

Brooke finished adding the lip gloss before turning me around in the chair. I looked in the mirror and was shocked to see myself. I looked completely different and I liked it.

"Thank you Brooke!" I grinned before standing up and hugging her.

"No problem! Right, shoes. Jay is picking us up by the way, I thought that would be safer." Brooke said looking at the shoes.

I picked up my converse and slipped them on, "I'm wearing my converse. No question about it," I said and tied the laces before standing up and pulling the dress down again. It was long lace sleeves. Brooke rolled her eyes then nodding her head.

"Fine, Jay is here anyway." Brooke said.

I grabbed my phone before walking out the dorm with Brooke following. We went down the flight of stairs with other students who were probably heading to the party as well. We went off campus before finding Jay's car. I got into the back while Brooke got into the passenger seat.

"Wow, Lexi you look... Amazing," Jay complimented.

I blushed, "thanks," I answered and fiddled with my hands.

"She does doesn't she? All the guys will be staring at you tonight," Brooke said.

I blushed again, "definately. You guys ready for tonight? Meant to be a big one." Jay said.

"Oh yeah, Lexi. Remember, if you ever want to get one of the guys to take you home, then feel free to. Just make sure they aren't too drunk." Brooke said.

I nodded my head and ran a hand through my hair before looking at my black painted nails, "yep," I said before Jay found somewhere to park.

It really was a big party.

We got out before heading inside after squeezing our way through. Jay wrapped an arm around my shoulders and grinned down at me. I smiled back up at him nervously as we headed to the corner again. The others were already there and looked up when we entered. I saw Nathan sitting with Tom and Max and actually talking to them before they stopped and looked up.

I locked eyes with Nathan before looking away and smiling at the others. I sat down next to Brooke and Jay sat down next to me as well, "Lexi, you are looking fine tonight," Tom grinned.

I blushed, "thanks Tom," I replied.

"Normal drink tonight babe?" Max asked, standing up.

I bit my lip, I need to prove something to Nathan no idea what it was but I need to prove something, "erm no. I'm thinking maybe vodka with coke?" I asked.

He looked at me in shock before nodding his head, "sure thing babe," he grinned then walked off.

"Pretty reckless, ordering coke with vodka?" Austin spoke up over the loud music.

I smirked slightly, "oh well," I replied. Ally and Sophie looked at each other before shrugging.

Brooke and Jay shared a look, "you sure you want that drink?" Jay asked in concern as Siva stood in front of us.

"Yeah you don't have to have it," Siva said.

I shook my head as Max came back, "no I want to! It is a party right? Had enough being the boring girl." I grinned before taking a sip.

I winced slightly before I tasted the nice drink. Brooke smiled slightly, "ok then. Nathan hasn't stopped staring by the way," Brooke said in my ear.

I looked over at him and gave him a wink to his shock, "oh well, like you said earlier he's a dick." I replied.

Brooke shrugged and finished her shot, "drinking game?" Hayley suggested.

They all nodded their heads while I shook mine, "I'm good with my drink thanks guys," I said.

Brooke shrugged, "alright then."

I watched them play the drinking game not completely understanding what was going on before standing up, "I'm going to dance." I said to Jay who nodded his head.

I stood up and pulled the dress down again before leaving, I got another vodka and coke before going onto the dance floor.

I looked at everyone before I just started dancing. I closed my eyes and let the music flow through me before someone placed their hands on my waist and pulled me into their body. I didn't care who it was and just carried on dancing before finishing my second drink and dropping the cup to the floor. I opened my eyes and turned around and was shocked to see Nathan.

He gave me a small smirk while I looked at him. I just danced with Nathan. As in dirty danced. Basically this means my life is over.

He kept his hands on my waist and pulled me as close as possible before leaning down, "didn't know you could dance like that," Nathan teased and I felt his lip ring graze my ear.

He pulled back before leaning his forehead against mine. I closed my eyes as I grabbed a fistful of his new black button up shirt, "why are you here?" I asked him, still with my eyes close.

He trailed his fingers along my side, "it's a party and I was invited," he chuckled, his hot minty breath fanning my face.

I smiled slightly, "you know what I mean. Like here, dancing with me," I said and opened my eyes looking up at him.

He gripped my waist slightly tighter, "because I couldn't stand the thought of you dancing with some random stranger. What's brought all this drinking, and dressing up thing on?" He questioned.

I shook my head, "I... Erm... Brooke's idea to dress me up and I wanted to drink I guess it was to prove something to you but I haven't worked that out just yet," I muttered and played with with buttons on his shirt.

He smirked before kissing my forehead slightly, "you want to know what you have proved? You have proved that you can turn all the guys heads in this party and I don't like that," he said harshly.

I looked back up at him with a small smile, "are you jealous?" I asked.

He didn't answer and just looked at me, "you know we can't actually be together right?" He said in my ear.

I looked down at my converse before looking back up, "why not?" I asked annoyed. Wait why am I even annoyed about this? It was just a stupid kiss right? Meant nothing. Nothing at all.

"Because it's not something I do or what people expect of me. I only have flings. Everyone knows that and I have a reputation to keep up," he said.

I shook my head before pulling away from him, "fine. It doesn't matter anyway." I said over the music and made my way through the crowd and finally got outside.

I felt a little dizzy before controlling myself and walked across the lawn where there were few students passed out or drinking. I carried on walking even when I heard someone shouting my name. I only turned around when someone grabbed my arm.

I looked at Nathan in confusion, "you didn't let me finish," he said in annoyance and frowned.

"There's nothing else to say, Nathan," I said sighing.

He rolled his eyes, "just shut up already. There is something to say and that's I don't care what they think. I'm going to do what I want to do which is why I'm doing this," Nathan said before pulling me towards him and pressing his lips against mine.
